Please let me know what you think of this style of tier list video vs the other way I did it with the weapons. Also In the video I forgot the Bow Specialist Augment which allows you to reload and draw bows faster as well as regen arrows overtime. I put this in A tier at the end. I dont really pick it cause I don't use the bows but if you like the bows than this augment is really good.

I absolutely agree with your tier list. Forecast is a perk I try to take every chance I get and would definitely say it’s helped me win 8/10. Thanks for the vids Evolve!
The soaring sprint perk isn't supergreat, i agree. However it does counter the shockwave Hammer. When you do a soaring sprint jump when someone Hammers, it doesnt give you damage and you wont get shocked away so it def has it uses
I love the content here (as always!), but I have one request for a change: Keep the augment title or icon up while you are talking about it. I've got ADHD and get distracted. Whenever my focus comes back to the video I am lost and don't know what you are talking about without scrolling back or waiting for the next one. If you keep the info up I can follow it much better!
Recently got into fortnite and really appreciate your content. I like your calm and very analytical approach. And already improved a ton before even hitting lvl 30 with your videos. Damn do i wish that Fortnite expands on the Movement even more in the future. Imagine how sick it would be if at 16:27 you could Walljump of the rock with the Momentum you got of the hammer to immediately peak above it to pump.
The augments that mark other players are pretty OP because im shooting at players that would be out of my line of sight. I think I've won a few times to that. I wish they had augments to upgrade weapon rarity or something. Maybe one that offers a random vaulted weapon but the player has to give up an inventory slot.
Another downside to the balloons I noticed is that they can easily reveal your location when you're trying to hide. In one game my team got the drop on a squad and killed 2/3, the last ran away and we lost track of him...until I saw a balloon clipping through the roof of a building!
I've had a lot of fun with the balloons but the way they randomly spawn on your back the rest of the match, and not on command, makes it very problematic. Slowly descending is also harder to shoot people than it is for them to shoot you. Not to mention they can bug like everything else in this update...once I let one go and two popped randomly and I fell. I didn't get shot. If you only play Fortnite for sweatlord dubs then this is probably the worst perk
Bush warrior seems like a meme until you use it and get 150 hp in like 6 seconds and you can reload while you are being healed it’s crazy . I think this augment stuff is a great addition now if they put in ones that change the gameplay like reduce recoil
I totally agree with your placement of forecast, my squadmates flamed me for it, but I've noticed we started winning more once I told them where storm was
I know I'm kinda late to the comments but one thing huge about Bush warrior I've noticed is in team modes where you can res teammates, going from 30 to 150 is HUGE
I found that with the Party Time augment. utilizing a bow and the hammer along with a DMR and if you get lucky, the Bloodhound auggie, you can be a valuable asset to team members. I've gotten the balloons early on in a match where other teams were unaware of them yet that I stay high above and mark out enemy positions for my team while going unnoticed. Edit to add: I haven't been lucky enough to get the Arialist augment as well as balloons and the aforementioned but that would be very useful as well.
12:30 Important note on Bush Warrior, 'only' works on bushes/foiliage. The corn fields work, leaf piles work, and of course bushes. There are NONE of these things on any part of the map that's white, which is fairly large. So be aware of where the circle might lead, otherwise you literally waste an augment you had no chance of using because of your location.
Yep, that is why I would make it at least A tier. Anything you open; chest, ammo box, the tool boxes, the coolers; all of it can give you a free splash.
I don't think the augments are the main reason behind the sprint bug. My friends on PC seem to get it all the time and it mainly occurs either at the very beginning of the match (before the first augment time) or even on the pregame island. And again it seems to happen to the PC players a lot, whereas me playing on series X, I've only gotten it once (before augments as well). Just seems like a random occurrence honestly. But couldn't hurt to avoid those perks anyhow
The running bug can happen at the start of a match before any augments but can be fixed by dying and getting rebooted, I believe the same can be done for the mantle bug and I use More Parkour all the time and have never had the bug, an S tier for sure if you tend to climb and mantle things a bunch like me
Bro I literally just found out by watching this that there was a mantel bug. I thought it was my internet even though I have the best I can have where I live. So far your the best RU-vid channel out all the others seem to be toxic and cry a lot!!
I just want to let you know jake that you dont need to avoid the augments. Ive been getting the sprint bug every few games and the issue begins in the lobby so it has nothing to do with the augments. ive been checking sprint in the lobby so that i can just leave the game if i see i cant sprint.
i agree with your ranking bro. Due to the bug, out of 5 matches i play 1 has the sprint bug and all 5 has the mantle bug. And i am sure its not due to augments, since i dont select these augments
I personally really love tricked out. It’s saved me in a pinch when I’m down on my luck in a fight and make a break for a vehicle that’s bolstered enough to get me out of there. Also had a game where I was an absolute menace near the slap factory suburb. Was completely demolishing it with vehicles and ended up winning.
Thanks for the logic explained behind every augment. I have a different question, if someone can help. I use red dot, thunder, hammer, chugs and assault rifle. My question is to whether to use assault rifle or twin mag in zero build ? I find assault rifle does lot of damaage in mid range where twin mag has limited mag size which can run out pretty quickly. Any suggestions between assualt and twin mag ?
Hey Jake, I know this sprint bug thing still pretty much without a solution. I recently switched to kbm BUT left my controller plugged in. I've been unable to tact sprint randomly but very often until tonight when I disconnected my controller entirely. I feel this is a bug that affects mainly kbm players... just thought I'd share it with you in case you would want to bring it up. I wouldn't be surprised that if there are players getting the bug on controller, they have a kb plugged in and whatever combination of settings/binds that cause the conflict to kick in.
Does anyone know why when I get storm mark I only see the diamond above an enemy's head and do not see the outline of their body? Everyone else I know can see enemies' bodies like infrared.

Hi a bit off topic.. but my son has been playing fortnight with some kids from school. And on multiple occasions they became team leader only to kick him off the team… can anything be done? Besides removing them on his friends list?

i just started playing fortnite after like barely ANY video game experience, only in october, and boldy keyboard and mouse. i spent a lot of those first few weeks binging ur videos and because they helped so much, i really havent needed to watch your videos since then. came to check out what your opinions are for this new chapter, and watching your gameplay, i definitely got it honest from ya. i for sure adopted your play style, and i've been the only person i know playing that just really can't stand the gimicky items. i mean the only thing i ever use the hammer for is purely mobility. big time gun play and mechanics aggressive player thanks to you. i'm at a 2.64 solos k/d already :) thanks for being such a wholesome sweat.
@@EvolveJake something i don't think is realized and that makes you stand out more as someone to learn from in the game is you focus on scenario based information, spectating live gameplay and offering your real time advice is the biggest example, but all your tips all consider the scenarios you may face. other fortnite learning channels/videos aren't really doing that. so it's actually kinda trained my brain to think that way in game. proactive instead of only reactive :)
