Can't blame you for the list, however I respectfully disagree from this from Halo:CE, and infinite, infinite was okey for me, but not much was put into the story not like the other good halo campaign. Halo:CE did and it seemed 343 was trying to do the same thing, but didn't cennect, in the end, it was close enough.

Some of y’all need to replay halo 4 again. Used too think it sucked but after replaying, it’s in my top 3

343 got worse each game. Bungie got better each game. Worst to best is: infinite, 5, 4, reach, 1, 2, 3. Infinite is dead last. For example i played a couple infinite games tonight. One game i hit a person perfectly in the back and they lived. I even double checked in theater. Next game someone hits me in the back as im behind him looking at his back. Even checked in theater. This is normal occurence in infinite. Each match something happens that shouldnt happen. Thinking about uninstalling infinite

From top to bottom I would go with CE, 2, 3, Reach, ODST, Wars, 4, Wars 2, 4, Infinite, 5. Infinite and 5 are free to swap because like most linear to open world games, sucks and screws up the story's flow or at least what story there is. Banished are just the Covenant with extra steps and throughout the game it feels like you missed a large amount of content and context that was left over from 5, like an entire game. The upgrade system and grapple is mid at best and was made because Tarzan Chief need rope to swing like George of Jungle because open world needs a gimmick.

@GamingMuItiverse Halo 5 had fantastic multiplayer. Designed from the ground up for competitive play and the best forge of its time. Halo infinite has the best gameplay of any Halo game ever made. It had its issues but none of it feels like destiny especially the weapons.

@yepimhere5413 both, with the a few exceptions here and there. I should honestly bump it up to say Halo Reach cuz I loved the heck out of that game and honestly still might be my favorite - but regardless it's hard to find a AAA game nowadays that doesn't charge you for everything else you can recieve in game without some sort of currency being passed. Heck even taking from MW 2019, me and my buddy grinded 3 seasons of the free battle pass (so maybe 20 items you get for free out of the 100 tiers) and it took us 3 seasons in order to recieve 1 bundle worth of cosmetic items out of the 100's they have. They have made it impossible, or virtually impossible to grind for desirable items. Not to mention somehow games being released now with bugs even when they have been delayed. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out how to release a game with sometimes as many bugs as they have, yet it keeps happening over and over. I honestly wish it would improve, by no means am I against the companies. I'll gladly wait for a release if it's at least playable on release with a glitch here and there, that's expected, but some games are indeed unplayable in some regard. Recently playing MW2, in the campaign itself you are supposed to reach an objective and well, you can literally go PAST where the objective is supposed to spawn and thus, creating an infinite campaign where you never progress, and the worst part is me and the three people I know who own it ALL had this issue and had to restart our missions. 3 months after release and it isn't fixed.

But the vehicle health being lower was better because you didn't have someone just splattering people around spawn. I didn't care about vehicles because game modes like infection, swat and regular tdm. Call it a rant if you want to. It's just because you can't accept the evidence that proves reach is far superior

Halo 3 didn't have too much of a campaign and couldn't even take a romantic walk through a combat zone without being stopped by Cortana sending nudes. ODST had too much walking, not enough combat, and then at the end of the game you get raped by drones

I have been playing every halo since I was 6 ( I am 17 now) I started with halo combat evolved. Then halo 2, halo 3, halo 4, halo 3ODST and now I rarely play Halo Infinite

Halo series was nothing new. What was new was the ps2 and Xbox which allowed fps games to explode. Halo being on Xbox with Xbox live being so much easier to connect to internet is what helped halo flourish. The story telling was amazing as well. The connection between Cortana and chief was something that a lot of games didn’t have. The emotion behind the game. Ps2 had so-com and a few other games but required so much more to connect to internet. Wasn’t just plug and play like Xbox. Also games weren’t focused around online gameplay like Xbox eventually focused on.

it's too late to be at number 1 now and the only way to make a halo game that is number 1 and flys to one of the most popular xbox games is probably only if we get rid of 343 even though they have been better recently. but 10 years of incompetence has strained the franchise so moving on from 343i is probably the best. we should definitely take some employees from 343 though

I think that’s why it was second, it was great but halo 3 was a complete package. Story was great, multiplayer was great, forge and theater was innovated af. I mean if you look at the times, halo 3 was released around cod 4 was out and look at their multiplayer compared to halo 3. Halo 3 was ahead of its time. It took cod like 3 more games till they were able to release one with theater mode. I will give you the that HALO 2 competitive scene was massive! And a lot of things was due to the success of Halo 2. I would say the HALO original trilogy of CE to 3 was and is the best video production ever in a sense that it just got better and better every game.

Infinite has a huge story, but it was mostly told in the logs you find around the map other then that it’s, fight this guy, save these guys, what’s going on with Cortana’s memory fragments that’s about it, we need more but that will come in the next installment I was just getting into the story when weapon chose her name “and yes I like the fact she is going to be called Cortana, the name became a Mantle and technically she is Cortana, just not the original she’s Cortana Mk2”

But we’re judging it by how it is now, and Halo Infinite is objectively more advanced; However I think they’re roughly equally slightly better than okay on their Stories.

But Halo 5’s multiplayer was a blast. I lot have said the same for 4, but I never really got into it.

Yes 5 having no split screen was bullshit. But honestly Halo 4's campaign gameplay is fairly lacking, I found 5's better

I wouldn't say it's underrated since most people recognise the fact that halo infinite has by far the best gameplay in the series,I think overhated would be a better word.

It really is. To be honest from my personal rating on that topic regarding story it would go as follows. 1. Halo 3, best story in terms of the original end of a series. Everything was set up for a grand finale of the greatest series to touch a console. 2. Halo Reach, while not many people liked the story cause "you die in the end" it went to show that sacrifices happen and people die in order to win a war. No matter how significant a soldier is. 3. Halo 2, the feeling of switching between our jolly green,ring exploding giant and the fleetmaster who was dishonored because of his inability to safeguard a holy relic got you to see both sides of the war for the first time. 4. Halo CE, while this is my personal favorite cause it's the first game I played at the age of 4 and the game that got me hooked story wise it was a bit repetitive at times. From missions like the Library or Assault on the Control Room (in terms of long walkways and going down or up elevators) it was still good in a story way. 5. Halo Infinite, in my opinion it's got a solid story but there could've been more story wise. Ending it on the Harbinger dying was a bit offputting and saying farewell to Cortana for the last time while being a tearjerker for some wasn't the best note to end it on. Given the lore behind Zeta Halo there was room for additional things. 6. Halo ODST, I loved it as a game and story wise it was still solid. Finally seeing what happened to Earth in between the time frame of H2 and H3 was just what most of us wanted in terms of story telling. Honestly I have no gripes with it. 7. Halo 4, this game wasn't my personal favorite story wise . While it was nice to play as Sierra 117 again it took away from the feeling of ending Halo 3 in terms of being the end. Also the Didact was a little bitch that could've better. That's my opinion though. 8. Halo 5, honestly, story wise what isn't wrong with this game ? It made Cortana's sacrifice in 4 about as worthless as a chopped up penny. Locke was okay even though everyone hates him, honestly I would've preferred Buck but that's just cause I love Nathan Fillion as an actor and voice actor.
