I like Ness because Ness is actually from that one game Undertale and I think Nintendo made a great reference for it taking a character from Toby Fox. It helps promote Toby Fox's tiny game. Thanks, Nintendo!
i think Nubert is really well written, his overworld apperance is awsome, obviously, it made chapter 6 amazing for me, and him sacrificing himself in chapter 7 was heart breaking, yet triumphet, and it was a great conclusion to a great character.
@@jerichode I’m wonder why you have an issue with some of the chiptune instruments like the harpsichord used in queen, I personally never found the track grating in anyway
0:48 fun fact, toby fox had the idea for deltarune WAY before undertale (since around 2011), and so deltarune was his original passion project but he got distracted making undertale first lol
Undertale was kind of a test, like "Okay, I don't have the respurces ro make my dream game YET, but let's make something adjacent with the things I have. He definitely intended to get the funds for Deltarune, but didn't expext Undertale to explode the way it did.
I give The World Revolving and Big Shot likewise the incredible honor of being such bangers, I never got bored of them even after hours and hours of attempts at beating the bosses they play over. I don't think any other piece of music has managed this for me before. Oh and amazing video as usual! Your rankings give me a real chill mood for some reason :)
About "The Dark Truth" - It reminds you so much of Flowey because the beginning sounds a lot like Undertale's "You Idiot" and the beginning of "Your Best Nightmare"
Jerichode, I gotta warn you, having the full version of Don't Forget puts this video at risk of copyright strike. I've seen other videos get taken down because of it.
50:41 "HEY EVERY !" is meant to be "HEY EVERY ONE" because the exclamation is also where the number one is in the keyboard. I don't agree with many takes, but do with others. Also my favorite song from Undertale is "Another Medium" too and agree about how good Toby area themes are. Great work!
I thought for a sec that my ears were different from other people but looking through the comments it seems that most people are as confused as i am about the ear hurting notes
16:00 I'm Very Bad is just Lancer's Leitmotif/Theme but using Susie's Instrument Sample, which makes sense because he's trying to imitate Susie in that scene. It's nothing special but I think that fact makes it kinda funny.
Yeah I understand but I just can't find it into my heart to dislike most music especially by toby I also made it to the you can always come home and I'm sorry man that's heartbreaking but just know that there is always sombody that cares about you and don't let anybody put you down
I actively hate how this one got so utterly less views than the other videos, please don't stop because of that. You literally make my day every time a new one comes out
Ok but bro real talk crushing on a skeleton is crazy like imagine looking at it and being like "mmmmm yeahhh love that spine~ and those femurs are so thick~ mmmm take me already~"
I know weird birds is just bird noises but it plays in one of my favorite scenes in the game. It’s really relaxing to hear while the fun gang just walk to the castle with lancer and lancer realizing his father won’t except mercy to his friends.
I would like to call attention to the _Girl Next Door_ lofi remix by _Scramel_ , I wasn’t actually a big fan of the original song but when I heard this it opened my eyes to how banging of a melody it actually has. Toby Fox is definitely going to cook with this one in future chapters. The Ambient Synth Cover of ANOTHER HIM by Amie Waters is also really good if you like sleeping.
39:06 this could actually be toby playing the song because hes done that in undertale before, in last goodbye you can hear a short piano section with whirring noises which basically means it was recorded
When are you going to do the undertale console exclusive tracks? PS4/PSVita -Mysterious shrine -Overly familiar shrine -Before the story(I know it's in deltarune. Just added it for the complete list) Nintendo Switch -Mad mew mew Xbox -Dog casino
Apologies, but Knock You Down can't be F-tier. Not because of the song itself, but because it lead to the cover of the song on RichaadEB's channel. And I don't think covers/remixes should factor into the ranking in any other scenario, and you're entitled to your own opinion and might not even personally like the cover that much. However, that level of shred simply cannot be ignored.
I seriously don't know what it is about Knock You Down !! that makes me feel so incredibly nothing. I simply don't listen to it, i don't think i ever have in full
You should watch this vid from Spaceman Scott about Fnaf and Undertale/deltarune. I think he did a good job at explaining how Undertale and Deltarune succeeded while Fnaf screwed itself. I think it’s something you’d like.
@@jerichode You did in fact cook, your insight into ‘you can always come home’ was appreciated and you overall had some really good picks. I have no idea what went on with the ‘knock you down’ placement tho you must reaaaaaally not care for that one 😂
I clicked off when you didn’t put checker dance in C. I could tolerate not putting legend in S, you had a reason. BUT YOU HAD NO REASON FOR PUTTING CHECKER DANCE IN C!!!! Jk I enjoy seeing others takes on the songs and I kept watching. No hate here!
God almost 50% of these are like really bad opinions Edit: mediamotifs made a better video on this same topic. If you want less personal, biased opinions, you can see a ranking based on votes.
@@jerichode it said in the video title that it was just the intro, but still I somehow forgot and checked to see if it was posted on April 1st before reading the title.
At first i didn't care much for "Pandora Palace" too, but then i listened to RichaadEB's rendition and loved it. 100% recommend :ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lO1ZpOJs2L4.html
I would not rank Rude Buster as S tier. Not saying that it's a bad track, no, objectively it slaps. However. After playing through the game and hearing it a million times... yeah, it's not _so_ good to beat the force overexposure. (Not to mention it is associated with the disruption of random encounters.) Unlike World Revolving and Killer Queen, which I have listened to for hours at a time (cuz, y'know, boss fights), yet it was great every time, because they're just _this good._ Or at least, that's what I think is happening, since I like the latter way more than the former.
Man wake up one day and wanted to be different and says something completely wrong, how dare you being wrong? it’s definitely true that rude buster is great, and if you don’t like it your un correct and it’s not an opinion.
@@The_gaslight_district_Fanboy lemme fix that. “Man *woke* up one day and wanted to be different, and says something completely wrong, how dare you *be* wrong? *It’s* definitely true that rude buster is great, and if you don’t like it *you’re incorrect* and it’s not an opinion.” with all the things you got wrong, i can tell you’re a child who skipped ELA and has no idea whatever the heck an opinion is.
