Yeah it has crazy potential. Which is what i think hes going off with this pick. Im at 2600 rating and i barely see any of them but when i do they oneshot people very quickly.
Maybe its just me in EU but I feel like as ele sham I dont get trained all that much, 99% of your damage is instant cast so they dont stop anything by training you, you just drag them behind a pillar, thunderstorm+static+cap and can easily punish over extended melees out of LoS from their healer. Your passive tankiness from high armor, earth shield etc and the fact you rarely ever need to cast make you a not very appealing target in most cases though depends what your team mate is. As long as you play with a team mate thats an even better target than you, or any caster that you cant allow to just free cast your golden.
@@MrZozotier oh I'm way lower than that lol only came back a few weeks ago and don't get much time to play, just copied the 3s build thr top players on Murlock in were using, between normal procs, haste from PW splintered elements and windbreaker lava resurgence giving lava surge after every earth shock to fill in gaps between natural procs you have solid consistent damage without ever hard casting. Only hard casts are hex and ice fury rly
Assa is op if you’re not playing any of its hard counters but it’s likely that you are… dark iron dwarf/dwarf/dragons/any rets can rip off all your dots, especially dragons make it so you can’t use deathmark
Here is the thing though, as a healer the difference between B and A means that you can pretty much never get higher than 3-3 in SS. I play MW Monk and so many games I get put up against priest or evoker healers then I just know its gonna be a 3-3 best case scenario. And that is if I outplay them... I play in 1900s rating atm and it is brutal to try and out heal the meta healers. It feels like swimming against the current.
I've only played retribution nearly constantly since the end of BFA but I don't know how the hell it's not C tier. Maybe it is just C tier with me at the helm. As soon as I use BoP or Bubble it is removed early and with the only two defensives not blocked by Forbearance active I just flop. I can try to do burst, get cced, clear it, try to burst, get CCed immediately, by then I'm half health and CCed so I use a strong defensive and just die in the next few seconds whether bubble or BoP is removed early or not. With BiS gear and a 3 second TTK I can't get much done before I'm dead. I'm usually the kill target so Blessing of Spellwarding won't save me while I die during fear, Blessing of Sacrificing my teammates won't save me because I'm the kill target. If I cleanse my healers CC with Sanctuary, they just get cc locked again. I can't justify all of the Retribution nerfs that came through.
Except ret on beta right now might actually be the worst spec in the game at the moment. Obviously beta means nothing but just be prepared for another BFA type of expansion where ret is mid
have to agree on this expansion being most balanced ever. i have every class, played every spec. 1800 on all toons season 4 and 2100 on resto shaman. im no glad or r1, but i know my fair share of game.
would swap resto druid and shamans. resto druids get owned by long games and tools a bit lacking. resto shaman build mastery, with all the tool kit (if you can handle the bloat) is so much more superior. you underestimate resto shamans by a ton.
on rogues topic. rogues overall not having a great season. i donno what blizzard did with them, but it's nearly impossible to crank out any damage as rogue, meanwhile they are squishy as they should be. no matter which spec you play, your sustain damage is very, very mediocre. you never see numbers close to mage, dh, ret pal, like never, and rogues are supposedly killers. their entire game play revolves around making a good set up and cc. now to the good set up thing. rogue set ups come around about once every 2 minutes. so in solo shuffle in 1 round you can make a move 2 times a game, if you fail on 2nd move, and did not secure a kill, your team will lose 90% of the time, unless you're carried by some super damage dealing dps. i barely got to 1800 on assassin rogue. no mater what i did, i could never crank out any reasonable damage. all rogues i've encountered this season lost nearly all games. there would be one rogue, once in a blue moon, who would carry entire lobby and generally execute the set up with extreme precision every round. so unless you can do that, as a rogue, you're wasted slot on a team. again, in SS you have 2 shots to win a round, if you fk up, it's 90% a loss. all the other time outside of set ups, you just run around, doing pretty much nothing, throwing cc here and there. in reality might not even dps cause, that dps barely adds to anything.
@@maagi1 exactly why i disagree. because it does not portray reality for 90% of player base. the list should take into consideration 51% of player base to be true. if 90% cant play rogue , rogue cant be S tier simply because pikaboo and 2 others can do it. like i agree with ret placement, because 51% if not more can do well with the spec. meanwhile enhancement shaman should be some where in D, because only 2% can play it.

Outdated mechanic with forbearance Gutted PvP talents Melee that requires half their cc if chosen to be casted A tier is where they belong because during the first two minutes of a game if they aren’t the main kill target they can carry a lobby but if they are the KT they fall off a bit in the first two minutes with a steep drop off after that. Side note playing ret last night against dk frost mage assa rogue I was the KT 4 rounds with two of those having the assa rogue on my team. One match I couldn’t make it around the corner with the spam of snares grips etc
i play rd 1950 , is good actualy but not s tier for me evo is for sure the best , clause follow by sham , i want to put rd in a tier with priest maybe priest better than rd
i hate that so many people play ret now because it sugar coats our problems because its popular now i remember back in burning crusade and wrath and stuff nobody respected us especially in pve
Im not a good player but Resto Shaman surprised me a little Feels like they are fighting with holy pala who has the lowest output, but resto shaman makes up for it with all the utility and disruption. But that's hard for not so good players to do, at 2k rating in SS it definitely feels a lot weaker than Disci
@@chrisofblades5167 i rarely even get matched against a rogue in solo but when I do its assassin 4 real. Even in raids or open BGs rogue seem to not be played at least now in season 4
@@chrisofblades5167 If there are no other specs available then you get matched with same spec sometimes, and if you play meta, then ofc that will be the case. Sub and outlaw rogue are more rare, so you should get faster que and not match with same spec.
Agree with all of it, except Enhance is utterly trash. It's such a confused spec. It's caught in the middle of being a damage dealer and a support class and excels at neither of those roles. It's also got way too many buttons that ultimately do nothing.
One of the most balanced.... false.... there are 4 rogues in the top 10 on the 3v3 us leader board 40% of the top 10 are rogue and only 1 caster.... and its a ill give you one guess what class it is... mage obviously......... season 1 they tried to give me a 40% buff to my base spells as an aff lock with the tier set while others like monk got 5% buffs with tier..... wow balance is soo unbelievably bad..... i was going to watch but then one min in you start lieing sooo im out gl...... like we all just say the IZN video on shamans defense vs mage defense....

@@Primal_Echo DH still has one of the highest damage, with every type of cc, damage immunity, short cd damage redu, cc immunity, dispel for healer, lots of mobility, etc..
