I like your vids but when you said you were "Self Isolating" I had to laugh and remind myself that you live in Washington which is possibly the most liberal state in America.

But the game itself was very durable. I threw it against the wall in anger numerous times and it still didn't get damaged.

And technically I never wrecked a game because the NES cartridges were extremely durable.

I don't get it, that's like saying Castlevania 1 is overrated but gives it an A.

Many people rate it as the best NES game. I think he feels that there are dozens of better A- and S-tier games.

There is a lack of consistent logic with his lists, he says he's ranking them only against the other games by the same company, except when it is a sports game or an arcade port. And yet I watch.

It's overrated, but it's still a full tier better than Contra and at least on par with Super Mario Bros in importance and quality.

@@jst25 that's my biggest issue. He's ranking them only against themselves, yet the best game on the list can be a C, for example. Like, that's NOT how that works. That's just a thing he says, he's definitely NOT ranking games against themselves. He'll also say they are his personal opinions... then he'll say this game is amazing, one of my favorites. B. Like, uh what dude? The videos are good, and he has solid points on most games. The issue is that his rankings are trash, and he can't be bothered to learn a game. Anything more complex than "walk right, jump over enemies," is too complicated. I think in many cases, he gives solid reviews, but I knew so ething was fishy when he was talking about a game and said "I can't keep track of which button places the blocks, and which button rotates them " My dude, it's an NES. There are two buttons. That's a you issue, not a problem with the game.

Agreed. Blows super sprint or Indy heat out of the water. I enjoyed the snes and genesis ports too.

@@ostiariusalpha It's well implemented enough to make the game just a bit more fun to me. The two player option is only in that 1 on 1 versus mode.

@@kekeke8988 Absolutely none of the best Beat 'Em Ups are so stingy with your character's abilities, and don't parcel out the better moves late in the game. Arcade Double Dragon didn't do that and it does not negatively affect its gameplay in any way. Not having the coplayer option for the quest mode, on the other hand, is just a lame shortcoming in programming skill.

I thought 3 was the best game in the series. Yes, I'm being serious.

Ya, this game is so fun....we used to play the SNES port a lot back in the day, and i just recently played this one but it's the same game with not as nice graphics.

I agree, it's the best racing game on the NES. Multiplayer is incredibly fun, the controls are tight, the tracks are great and the "nitro" is the ultimate equalizer!!

Super Off Road is awesome and I had the Genesis version which is probably the worst version but I didn't care it was still fun.

Yeah I agree that game was really awesome I couldn't stop playing that game..... I think John Riggs just sucks at playing that game lol....

S or A. Not because Iike it or not. It's because it's a really popular, quality game. So it should be up ther with Battletoads or above it. Not that he put 2 trash racing games at higher tiers when they aren't even popular for one & poor quality at that.

@Enemy Visitor lol I just wish I could have more lives or continues or something. Only time I ever beat Battletoads was cheating with a Game Genie. 30 years ago it has some of the most original and fun gameplay I had ever experienced.

Eh, just keep plugging away at it. I got stuck in level 3 like everyone else, then eventually beat it. I was 13-14 at the time. Oh, and it was 1991.

I forgot High Speed was an NES pinball game. Looks so slow and methodical.

Agreed sir. I know it's not the arcade version but my cousin and I played the heck out of that game. It would be a B or A for me, but not an S. Actually, I would probably give Double Dragon an A and Battletoads a B. I owned Battletoads and it's the only game I've ever really ragequit.
