My thoughts exactly. He's already bias. Wants to find a reason to wanna dislike it. But as the asterisk states. This item is not smokeless but is smoke-less
@@FraustByteWell he is the definition of a money grab reviewer. Doesn’t care to review something in detail and give it the best chance, but only to make a lazy, short video in hopes of getting that sweet RU-vid payout.
No steam even that’s just general water vapor because the water got warm and gets misty like a shower. Which is just another testament to how little “smoke” is coming out 😂
I've done some research. Apparently bacon is a bit much for this thing to completely eliminate the smoke. And it's supposed to work by letting the water snuff out the burning fat and oils before they can produce smoke. With bacon it's just too much grease. Any other meat it should work just fine. Here's an excerpt from the article I just read: The slanted grilling grate on power smokeless grills directs fat and oils towards a drip pan underneath, disposing of them before they can create smoke. All of that sounds good and fun, but how something is designed is not always how it functions. Do power smokeless grills actually work? For the most part, yes. The slanted, non-stick grill system is effective at limiting smoke creation, however, most models, even the high-end ones, tend to still produce a bit of smoke with fattier meats. Using the force of gravity and a nonstick surface, they are still no match for bacon grease. They simply can’t channel it away quickly enough. However, I want to emphasize that the smoke they produce is a limited amount, and with meat like chicken, there should be none.
On one hand I’m screaming at Tyler to read the instructions before every video. But on the other hand, the videos would not be as entertaining if he did what he was supposed to. 😂
If Tyler can operate something out of the box the manufacturer has done an excellent job at making it user friendly. They could do a "Tyler Friendly" sticker.
@@ThePrufessa boring I think he’s completely right and I’m the same way as Tyler if there are instructions I just throw them away because it’s a waist of time Not that you know only smart/logic thinking ppl can do stuff without instructions lol Don’t get to offended because it just a joke I get some ppl rather use instructions but the positive side about him throwing them away is an other video lol 😂
@@ThePrufessa never did and I only take the instructions if it’s either something that can have SERIOUSLY BAD consequences or if it’s much to hard and takes more then a week to figure out The thing is and I’m not claiming this my self many ppl already told me I have a special talent for figuring things out One example when we had our first owl my mom bought a beautiful cage that was on the website rated and reviewed for being confusing and hard to assemble and I did it on my own with almost not using instructions when I was 14 y/o So a major screw up is probably far away
I love how when you don’t like something you try so hard not to like it. But, when it works you hate to admit it so you try harder not to like it 😂… also that’s steam not smoke.
This video is so full of emotions. The love of bacon, the sadness off the bacon burning the laughter of Tyler and pure madness he burnt the bacon and even forgiveness because it is in the name of SCIENCE
Good job at following the instructions. I know a lot of people think instructions and manuals are worthless, but you really should always read the fine manual from cover to cover.
The water doesn’t filter it lol. It just ensures that the fat from the food doesn’t burn since its immediately cooled off when it drips into the water. Which reduces the amount of smoke significantly.
@@Ok-mi9ed I did, but I'll try again. The clue is in the name, 'less' means exactly that, _less_ than the normal amount. If they had advertised a 'smoke-free' grill you could expect there to be zero smoke. I'm not saying that a smoke-free grill exists. I used the example of stainless steel, which people often mistakenly believe will never rust (aka stain) when in reality it only rusts less than regular steel. Products that use '-less' in their naming are not the same as those that claim '-free'. And again, as far as I know there's no indoor 'smoke-free' grill that exists, however I can say with certainty if you buy one that is called 'smokeless' thinking there's going to be no smoke you're going to be disappointed.
It's easier for us to see the smoke when you do the overhead time lapse. You sound like a crazy man from regular camera because we, at least me sees absolutely no smoke at that angle 🤣
I bought this grill a few years ago. It works great! I cook bacon on it with the griddle, not the grill. No smoke and no steam and I don't even put water in it.
Smokeless indoor grills use electricity, which does not create fumes. Whereas outdoor grills have open grates that allow the drippings to fall into the firebox, smokeless indoor grills have closed grates and direct drippings to a grease management system that prevents the grease from burning and creating smoke.
If I remember correctly from watching someone review a similar item, the whole "smokeless" is actually along the the lines of less smoke rather than smoke free. Will there still be some smoke? Possibly, but it won't be nearly as much as if you were doing it on a griddle or even a skillet without a lid. Appliances such as this that have "smokeless" in their name are not always going to 100% get rid of the smoke. They are designed to reduce it drastically to reduce the possibility of setting of a smoke alarm. I've set off my smoke alarm cooking burgers on a griddle or skillet bcuz I didn't have an appliance like this.
I feel like what happened is in the beginning, like everyone keeps saying it was water vapor, but after enough grease got into the water the water couldn’t steam and that caused it to start actually smoking
It's so loud though, I feel like the noise would make it not worth it, even if it did work better. I feel like there is a way to make something like that with way less noise.
A smokeless grill is any indoor appliance that mimics an outdoor grill's cooking process, yet do not let off enough smoke to trigger your smoke alarm. Instead of direct, open flames, these appliances use a number of different electric heat sources that are completely safe for indoor use. So yes some smoke is normal..
Tyler has a boomer soul. I love when he refuses to admit something works well because he doesnt like it. Also as everyone else pointed out its just steam bro. Love the vids!
You think that smoke was bad? You should see how much smoke my shower makes. Especially when it’s kind of chilly in the house, and the water is hot! So much smoke! I keep calling the fire department, but they just don’t bother showing up anymore. Apparently the kind of smoke my shower makes doesn’t mean there’s a fire… I don’t know, I’m not a science person.
