For the example of who'd you save, an asian of a white person. I'd say white as I can relate to them. The entire point of the two train tracks moral hypothesis is that it makes you question what you prioritize, but considering both people are healthy, same age etc and only one person is going to be saved then whatever reason you have as to why you save one over the other is irrelevant. However, if you're asked "would you rather save 3 asians or 1 white man?" and you pick the white guy, then youre genuinely racist and morally questionable where the outcome is increasing harm in the world based off personal preference and not the greater good.

The situation is not lame, but the people filling the up are. Idk if it’s the fact they are influenced by a camera and other people, but this is all uncomfortable to watch. Maybe it’s a social thing and we aren’t meant to see people in these situations, but the way their behavior is affected by the idea of them being watched makes this an odd interaction very far from actual real life interactions.
