YES you’ve got to watch the show!! Varian is my favorite, the boy in the first song. His arc is SO good, it makes him such a sympathetic character and the whole show is underrated. But you have to watch the Tangled movie first, otherwise you won’t understand the show.

@Scootx there's "Tangled before ever after" which is about kinda an hour long introduction to the kind of style of the series and what comes before the events of the series, and then there's "Repunzel's Tangled adventure" which is the series

@@Scootx No, there’s just a prequel movie to the series called Tangled:Before Ever After which happens after the original movie and is needed to understand the show itself, so if you do react to the show, you need to see the movie first (but please react to the show, it’s soooo good)

@Scootx theres not multiple series, but there is the movie, the series, and 2 minimovies to keep in mind for plot consistency. If you're going to react to Tangled, the best way to go about it is to watch everything in order and that is: Tangled (the movie) Tangled Before Ever After (the prequel minimovie to the show) Tangled The Series Tangled Ever After (the minimovie that came out after the first movie, but chronologically comes after the series)

Yeah, I accidentally started with the series (having watched the movie years before) and was confused about how they kept referring to past events like we'd already seen them. I thought at first there would be a flashback episode to explain it, but it turned out there was a special that acted as a pilot for the show that is separate from it on Disney plus.

Yeah all the songs with Varian and/or Cass are fire, iirc both of their VAs are more well known as broadway stars which explains how incredible their performances are in every song they feature in. Crossing the Line is my personal fav song from the series, highly recommend if you want to do a part 2!

Cass is my favorite, and her music is THE BEST -> Waiting in the Wings + Reprise and Crossing the Line. And Varian too -> Ready As I’ll Ever Be and his duet with Cass Nothing Left To Lose. You have no idea how HAPPY I am to see you watch this series!!!!

I need to see Jeremy (Varian) and Eden (Cassandra) in more musical stuff, they are such amazing singers 🤩 Also, everyone always recommends Ready As I'll Ever Be, Nothing Left to Lose, and Waiting in the Wings but Crossing the Line is SO good! It's a bit more spoilery (not anymore than Nothing Left to Lose) but honestly, that's my favorite performance in the show, Eden handles the lines toward the end perfectly.

Both Varian and Cassandras voice actors are Broadway singers that's why there singing is so amazing Varian is voiced by Jeremy Jordan and Cassandra is voiced by Eden Espinosa a lot of the other singers are also from Broadway but there the two I know by name

Here’s some more amazing ones to check out from this series - Life After Happily Ever After - Listen Up - Set Yourself Free (Probably my personal fav) - Next Stop Anywhere - Buddy Song - Crossing The Line - The Girl Who Has Everything + Reprise - I’d Give Anything Tho I warn you, a lot of songs in this series contain pretty heavy spoilers, so if you’re interested in watching the series, you should probably do that first :D

This series is amazing! There were some major spoilers in those songs, but yeah id 100% LOVE watching reactions to this! Just so you do know, its best to watch Tangled (the movie) and Tangled: Before ever after (which is basically a pilot to the show and it sets everything up), before going onto the series. Its a phenomenal show, and Cass is def my favourite character. If you do more songs before the show id reccomend some here (top being most reccomended, bottom being least reccomended but still amazing) -through it all - crossing the line -let me make you proud -view from up here (this one is pretty goofy visual wise, especially without context but the vocals are awesome) -bigger than that -buddy song

Low-key, Tangled has the best songs of any animated series in the 2010s... not named Friendship is Magic. And it's a pretty solid series at that... well, at least during Season 2.

Scoot, listen to me and listen to me good! You HAVE to watch this series it’s SOOOO gooooood! There’s some filler episodes that I’m not a fan of, but they all add to the greater story. It’s all cannon. That’s what’s so good about this show! And the art style and animation is just *chef’s kiss*

This show has a lot of good songs that match the quality of the ones from the original movie. Sure, there are some issues with the plot, but it's still worth checking out. A lot of people went into this cartoon thinking that they were watching it for Rapunzel or Eugene, but ended up liking Cassandra or Varian more by the end. pfft The 2D puppet animation in this series is honestly really impressive. That rotating scene from Nothing Left to Lose in particular must have been really difficult to accomplish. Gotta give a lot of props to those animators.

The show is definitely worth the watch, you would have to watch the movie first to understand whats going on in the series. Just a heads-up the movie and series have different types of animation
