Can you please make a video where you read like “children books” but more so ages 9-12 I also have some recs if you where to do this 1. The Thirteenth Hour by Quinn Sosna-Spear 2. Where the mountain meets the moon by grace Lin and 3. A tale of magic by Chris Colfer it’s a trilogy and probably my fave book I have ever read so very highly recommend

Lol Tower of Dawn was originally just supposed to be a novella, but SJM wrote way more than she expected and it just turned into a full length novel 😂

Yes, Legendborn is kinda information overload-i would not read that book if you’re in a slump. But PLEASE give it another chance because Bloodmarked was a five star book for me-SO worth getting through the first book for the second one!!

Throne of Glass is my favourite series, I'm so glad you loved it! And I'm genuinely so happy to hear when anyone tries it. It's a really big undertaking but I think it's worth it. The characters are amazing, they grow so much over the series. I implore anyone willing, to read these books (and if you didn't like the first few, please keep going at least until Queen of Shadows because that book is probably one of the best books I've ever read)

I also went into a huge fantasy reading slump after Kingdom of Ash! I wanted to read another fantasy, but any book I read after KOA didn’t compare. I ended up reading a thriller after to help me get out of that little slump

The only reason people were upset with ToD is cause we had to wait a year (I think) after the cliff hanger of EoS and she brought that one out then another year for KoA. That’s why people are sour but I loved it! It has one of my fave characters in it. I think it is a great book, long but it kept me hooked 😂

Aelin is my favorite book character ever. I don’t know if it’s because I spent so many books with her but following her journey, read and seen what’s my mind’s played as I read the books and all the sacrifice that she’s been through just breaks my heart and building it back up and repeat. Just a note for everyone - you really don’t have to tandem read these books to enjoy Throne of Glass! I actually wouldn’t recommend it because Tower of Dawn is a good book but you just need to give it more time and energy because it introduces so much new stuff in comparison to Empire of Storms! ❤️

@@paytonwitcher6854 I read the first 4, then assassins blade and then the next 3 (I’m reading tower of dawn and empire of storms separate. (I recommend reading throne of glass first and then assassins blade any time before empire of storms because there’s a few references of it in EoS)

A lot of people have a hard time reading more fantasy after finishing the ToG series. I know I had the BIGGEST fantasy hangover as well after reading them. I've also seen a lot of people on tik tok with the same problem.

I really don’t like tandem reading Empire of Storms and Tower of Dawn. ToD starts off slow, but really picks up towards the end. And I think having the break between EoS and KoA is HUGE for the relief that finally comes in that book (iykyk 👀)
