@Bianca Biaggi haha then you are indeed extremely qualified! I think depending on mother tongue, German language speakers and English language speakers will take phonetic direction differently. As Shawn doesn't speak German (I assume), he wouldn't know to pronounce i and e as a german, but rather as an English speaker. So they would pronounce nit as the sound in the English words knit, fit, or gif and cheee like cheese or plead.
