I will probably never read this series 😂 But I love your VLOGs and how excited you are for fiction. I tend to read non-fiction but you’ve inspired me to read fiction again and return to a beloved series of mine (No 1 Ladies Detective Agency). And your kitties are so cute. 🥹
You had the exact same reaction I did when I got my Barnes & Noble Edition I loved that it said The Ballad of The Archer and The Fox. And If you want to know what first two books under the dust jacket designs are I have the Barnes & Noble editions of the first and second books the design on OUABH is the Marisol has the recipes of the ancient north translated for the first in five hundred years. TBONA design is the book Evangeline was reading about the valor's, the rise and fall of valors the first royal family of magnificent north
I love your pure joy in this video. We have similar taste in books so i really enjoy the new blogs! Are you still going to do exercise challenges or reviews, or are youthinking of fully transitioning to a book/ lifestyle channel? Im wishingyou lots of success with this!
Thank you so much!! I think mostly books and lifestyle vlogs for now. If an interesting fitness challenge comes up tho, I’m not opposed to trying it out
Jaime, you have gotten me reading again after over a decade without much reading. I bought Fourth Wing and I've read 6 other books since then and ordered more. I found you because of your fitness/food vlogs but now I'm really enjoying your reading vlogs/book reviews!!
Seeing your pre-order arrive on Wednesday gives me hope that my copy of Iron Flame will arrive quickly this week!! Really enjoyed this video, I’m on board with the book week in the life theme ☺️
Finally someone shares the same opinion, I do think A curse for true love could have been better, but I did enjoyed it. Still a 5 star, still a 5 star series.
I absolutely love these book content vlogs. I wish so bad we liked the same type of books though lol. I am currently reading Wisteria Witches Mysteries and I do love the mystical, witchy, and magical books but low key with coziness and not suspenseful😀 But I am just like you with getting so invested in the characters and the story that I wish there would be 100 books to the series. Great video!
I really enjoyed the 3rd book and gave it 4 Stars. I read it in 2 days cause I was so excited. I agree with you that it needed more pages cause to me there were too many unanswered question left that it didn’t leave me 100% satisfied. I guess my expectations were just too high after the ballad of never after 😅 Also love the book content 🥰
My reading taste could not be more different from yours, but I still love watching your reading/books video! I'm glad to see more of it in your channel! 😊
do you think you'll be up for trying a different genre? I've heard great things about Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir. It is Sci Fi. I don't think there is any romance involved.
Yeah just keep going with reading vlogs! Reading is my biggest passion, I love japanese fiction ( Banana Yoshimoto, Haruki Murakami, Natsuo Kirino...). I'm not really into the fantasy genre but I would always liste to you The " book of the month" thing is really smart, thank you for sharing with us, I think I will search if there' s something like this in Italy
I haven't read this series so I have no opinion on the content, but from past experience with other big series, the last book is usually THICK, and I always think that they should have been edited down, but its interesting to hear that you thought this book should have been longer because a lot was left unsaid. I think you are right, and perhaps a spinoff series is coming.
Yeah, I was surprised to see this final book was the same length as the others. Stephanie Garber has actually recently announced her next book is coming in 2 months so we shall see!
Cannot imagine reading as fast as you do. Amazing. Enjoyed the book vlog. You inspired me to read Sarah J Maas. Never read that genre before but am really enjoying her Court series. So, thank you and always keen to hear more about what youre reading 😊
I wish I was as fast in reading books! :D I got 4 books for review this month and struggled to meet the deadlines, reading one YA-like book in a week just doesn't work for me and you do it in 1-2 days! Impressive! +_+
@@jaimefok I still have one more to go, called The Golden Reign, hope I can make it by the end of November 😂 Yeah I should ask for more time next time 😬 And I read into words a lot, reading carefully, so kinda a slow reader :(
Not a reader but you could possibly get me started. I love when the cats were kissing totally unrelated to reading and also unrelated is the morning stretch looks good.
Definitely cozy vibes from the reading vlog. I like to see your opinions on the books it lets me know if I maybe want to give it a try. I do also love the fitness vlogs and I hope to get to see more about your training with your personal trainer.
There’s just something about watching you cook food and read that is so wholesome 😊 Seriously loving this vibe. I’m reading ACOTAR right now and I’m hooked. It’s soo good! Maybe in the future I’ll pick up some of your other recs 😊 Question tho, where do you usually order books from?
@@jaimefokI saw that! I’ve been eyeing book of the month subscription so I’m glad you’ve joined and talked about it :) maybe you can talk more about it in your future vids if you think it’s worth it? 😊
Definitely setting the scene for the cozy season with these videos! 🤍 wow, imagine choosing a few recipies that go with the themes of the books you read, and make it a whole cute thing🤩 Just an idea🙊🤍
