We've talked about Credence in your live together. I did actually finish it, but I gave it 3 stars. I was like I enjoy it in some parts, but the UNCLE JAKE parts during only THOSE scenes. Traumatizing.

The ritual is probably one of the best books I’ve read in a while but I was super disappointed with the Sinner and haven’t managed to get to the other books in the series because of how much I disliked the sinner I was so sad about it 🙃

Credence was horrible I don’t think Penelope Douglas books are that good at all. They mostly have the same kind of taboo feel and it comes off as gross. Didn’t like Birthday Girl either.
