I REALLY Like Cassard - New French T10 Destroyer 

According to any data anyone has presented, the playerbase has been very very slowly declining, but that's just normal for a game this old. There is no noticeably spike in decreases after the addition of subs.

It ranges at its peak between 8k and 14k. Buy if you average it all out its about 9500 for NA during peak hours. At non peak hours it stays a constant 2400+.

I am a dd main. Subs and cvs don’t bother me. I actually like it as I have to change my tactics. And since both teams have equal numbers then it’s still even.

yea torps normally run on compressed air. or battery's. just wargaming try to make more complicated mechanics that new players wont know

you're all wrong, they simply had a bad batch of torps made that all had small cracks in the metal casings, the longer the torp is in the water, the more water leaks into the black powder, thus reducing the boom at the end....lol

The fuel in the torpedo increase kaboom power, less fuel = less kaboom

Cassard has about 4.5km more torp range, 1 less gun (i think with slightly slower reload but can't remember what Marceau reload is) and is one of the slowest t10 dds

​@@TwigsGames they have the same reload, but you should absolutely not play Cassard as a gunboat. Her HE dpm is painfully average (despite having 3 marceau turrets), her gun angles are terrible and her speed is one of the worst at T10

Sometimes yes and some dds have armor belts that can't be penned by he. Those belts also help guarantee full pens. It just really depends on the dds in question and the scenario tho.

You should use AP against Gearing (21mm section), some russian dd's, and the Elbing line

They're not similar at all. Gdansk is a gunboat. Cassard is a torpboat.

6km is when early announcement, then buffed and now nerf again to 7 or 7.5km (i forget). Cassard is really mix match of Kleber and Marceau but the gameplay can be 2 gameplay: 1. Regolo but without smoke so you need to rely on the saturation gimmick and the speed boost that not even fast enough as standard of kleber/marceau. She might be like kleber leg mod but my friend said more into regolo due to short speed boost 2. Classic marceau/kleber gun boat. Its hard against Kleber, especially againts the leg mod so better pick kleber for torps. For gun, probably can out gun kleber IF no mbrb and no speed boost

Shima is much, much faster than Cassard and she also has a smoke which is huge.

Absolutely not. 195k HE dpm (painfully average), no smoke, 34 knots and garbage gun angles. If you play this ship as a gunboat. You will die.

@@cheeseplate44 The Maine was pushing into a won flank, he just lacked the tools for spotting PQ when his friendly DD decided to smoke up and hide rather than take on the lone DD. The Maine was not doing anything wrong other than hoping his team mate would actually do their job. Z-46 out spots Cassard by a fair bit there is no reason why the Z-46 didn't just 1/4 speed and let PQ spot himself for the Maine. Also not to be that guy but Valoord has a point, DDs are un-fun to play against, and the power creep with them has been insane. Cassard having effectively faster Shima torps out to around 7-7.5km with a much faster reload, tighter spread, better torp angles, with the gun DPM of Halland, and French damage saturation. Let's be real the only reason to play Halland at all after Cassard comes out is if you REALLY want that extra 1.5km of torp range, because even at minimum damage Cassard's torps hit harder and have the exact same reaction time, and Halland is already a stupid powerful DD.
