This game is genuinely addictive, I’ve never liked chess because of how boring it is, but this game is just a more fun chess with so much more variety in gameplay, it’s actually kinda genius
I believed it was banned in the Netherlands because of the gamble expect of the game. However I now learn that it has been banned altogether worldwide… Why, it was such an unique game with lots of tactical play and collectibles. Hope some developer will pick it up, rework it and release it.
Same lol. Bought all the passes, ran the op ultra beast teams. So mad they removed this game. I have a lot of resentment for the pokemon company because of this
The game's success was MASSIVELY outdone by Pokemon go - within a year of Go releasing, the game shut down. That, and the gambling/gacha aspect of it wasn't looking good at the time, so I'm sure they wanted to avoid the risk there.
I remember the original strategies still.. you either just blocked up their spawn corners at the start with high movement Pokémon then pick off what they got down. Or spamming mons with a big self destruct on their wheel lol.
I was always in it for the long play, I’d always block off their entry points and either defeat all their mons or wait for their timer to run out. I had so much fun with this game and I’m gutted it’s gone 😭😭
When I heard the game was shutting down months in advance because I didn't want to make progress for nothing and now I get to see this and it feels great
This is the pokemon game i enjoyed the most except pokemmo. It genuinely makes me angry that they deleted it and specially if it was only in favor for the useless boring pokemon masters
@arche456 that rlly sucks especially since this game was ways better imo I remember a lot of ppl deleted this game tho becuase they didn’t add on to their story for like months despite them mentioning they would
Best mobile game from pokemon ever made, aside shuffle i miss my mew, cheznugg, greyninja all those good old figures that were the og must have in your team
I remember I started playing Pokemon Duel in like early 2017 or something. I was 7 or 8 at the time if you were curious. Also I kept deleting and reinstalling the game (which means I kept wiping out my data and starting from scratch) over and over again for some reason. Don't forget that I remember a very annoying glitch where a rare figure that the game gave me wouldn't show up and as a result I couldn't use it. It's as if I never got that figure in the first place.
Honestly don’t know why this got suggested but glad it did. There’s gotta be a way to let them open this game again right? They’re like a multi billion dollar company; can’t they afford to keep this game going?
I miss with game as well as rumble rush I think the only actual pokemon mobile games that seems to be left are masters and go which are way worse then rush and duel
If Pokémon masters was discontinued it would've be better if we had Pokémon duel active but no instead we got that stupid Pokémon masters where every single event is impossible
As someone who has a playlist about this game, it's unfair that Nintendo shut down the best Mobile Game ever. Hardly anybody had the time to beat the end of the game. There's still Kareu Duel. But, it's nowhere near the finished product.
