I feel like you bought a full face of makeup that you already own(and probably have lots of) and always use/show in videos. It would be nice to see you start using items out of your comfort zone or things you wouldn’t normally gravitate towards. I feel like I’m always watching the same videos from you with the same looks every time. It would be nice to see a more creative fun look from you like you used to do. You are so talented Allie and would love to see you get out of your comfort zone a bit more💕💜 Congratulations on your sponsorship. You deserve it girl! I just think as your channel grows you should allow yourself to grow more creatively as well.
as someone who’s trying to get into makeup, i find these type of videos really helpful even if it is products that she’s shown before because then i know it’s really good! i get how it could be frustrating for someone who’s more advanced, but for me it works great :)
While it’s a great suggestion, the purpose of the video was to show people who are either starting or looking to put together an “all in one” or travel necessity makeup bag what to buy that she’s found work well yet weren’t outdated and still popular (making them easy to find). Trying completely new things here wouldn’t have worked because you can’t grab a base collection like she was doing for this video with hit or misses. It was a trip to the store to grab and go with her go to items.

I‘m from Germany and although our drugstores have a lot of the things the ones in the US also have, there are always a few things missing :( The product selection just isn’t the same as in the US and that is sometimes really frustrating :( Also there are some brands that we don’t get here in Germany, or at least it’s reeeaaally complicated and also expensive to get them shipped to Germany
Sooooo practically everything you picked out initially, are my current EVERY DAY favorites/necessities when it comes to makeup. ESPECIALLY obsessed with the Milani silky matte bronzer. The loreal foundation + mascara are my absolute favorites too. Can't get enough of them, and I have to have backup in my collection. Great video!

In my opinion L'Oreal Fresh Wear foundation is one of the most versatile foundations for all different skin types. You can easily make it more matte with the proper primer or glowy with a dewy or hydrating primer. Many times I've had to change foundations for my dryer skin in the winter but with the right primer underneath this it's not even necessary. The shade range is also amazing while the only downfall is the faint scent that has made my eyes water at times. So I wasn't surprised at your choice here because overall it's a great foundation that wears very well.
Agreed. Only thing I hate is something inside it burns my eyes. Same for the maybelline dream urban cover. I love both, but both burn my eyes. I still use them, it I try to be careful near the eyes.
I am so jealous of the size of the CVS you are in, mine is so small I'm lucky I can find the main top brands in that store. I used to wear the Maybelline clear mascara as my mascara for makeup, because when I was in high school ( it was a private school) students weren't allowed to wear makeup, but I had my clear mascara.

Hey girl. I would love to see you do some eyeshadow looks in colors other than shades of pink/peach. You have amazing eyes that I would love to see with something like greens and/or coppers. Honestly, anything but pink. We've seen that tons.
I'm Australian and I loved CVS when I was in the states. I went to so many. I had to though 😉 We don't have coupons in Australia so I ended up going back so many times to spend my extra bucks. My kids and husband were not impressed 🤣
When I started getting into make up and couldn’t afford high-end, CVS was my go-to. Now even when I shop so much at Sephora, I still go to CVS for my drugstore favorites. 😁
I have the Cover Girl Peach Punch palette and LOVE IT! It and the Chocoholic palette are 2 of my favorites! I also have the Milani gloss. Have you tried the Physician's Formula Rose` Kiss All Day Velvet Lip Color in Pillow Talk???!! OMG!!! It is an EXACT DUPE for the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk lipstick! It is SOOOO PRETTY! I still need to get the L’Oréal infallible foundation, but I need to use up the foundations I already have and like because I have 5 I’m currently rotating through, and sometimes mixing together depending on what my skin is doing that day, lol I’m sure we all know that game 😂

Yep peach eye looks are my favorite. So brightening. I like rusty looks too. Big blown out rusty looks. Tarte has a new little pallete. It is very peach. Party pallete.

If you’re buying your makeup at CVS, you’re doing it wrong. They overprice everything so using coupons or buying sales just gives you their base price at Target/Walmart
Yes, I agree with Gabrielle, all make up is a lot. Ore expensive at CVS, Walmart, has much better prices, and better if you have manufacture coupons from the Sunday news paper. So even though you think the price is good bc of the coupons that they give you for the next shopping trip,it is still more expensive.🤩
Respectfully disagree. #1, you MUST join the Beauty Club - they give you extra store coupons for beauty items and for every $30 you spend you get $3 back on top of your ECB for your deals. If you shop at CVS regularly, they also give you % off your purchase store coupons (which can be used on top of item/brand specific store coupons AND manufacturer coupons). If you’re buying makeup at CVS and not making the cashiers’ jaws drop, YOU are doing it wrong.
I was just about to say that I thought the prices that I could see were in Canadian when I was watching the video. The fact that it’s American dollars is insane! That’s way too expensive!
I love Walgreens and their beauty club. I buy a lot of makeup cosmetics abs skincare stuff and I think its every 50 dollars u spent in beauty you get 10 dollar reward. Plus they have their whole store points thing and it adds to both so I get money off quickly its great. And they have a lot of stuff on clearance too
@@pameldacamel Yes! I had so many coupons that I used for Revlon products, plus I got extrabucks from it. I bought primer and powder, they both came out to maybe $5? I bought other things with it, plus I got $5 extrabucks back, so it was basically like getting both for free. Plus you can clip manufacturer's coupons. I always get 40%, 30%, etc coupons too. And you get free nail polish for your bday when you join the Beauty Club. :)

I HATED the Rimmel stay matte at first (as a setting powder) What I LOVE it for is “no makeup” makeup days! I conceal the worst hyperpigmentation/zits and then use this powder all over as a sheer powder foundation. It takes away shine, but also tones down the redness slightly. It is amazing! It holds up so well on my oily skin and doesn’t cake up. No other powder foundation has held up like this does on my skin! I love it. 🙌🏼
video idea! try different techniques/trends. for example, putting blush and highlight on nose (those that people usually do with fake freckles) or bigger coloured wing liner layered with glitter, etc. allie always does beautiful glam makeup but would love to see her sort of go out of her comfort zone and try out different things and it could be a review in a way yknow? ♡

I tried the maybelline instant age rewind with the maybelline loose fit me powder today. I usually use shape tape and Anastasia setting powder. The maybelline looks so much better. I can’t believe it. I’m 42 years old. Everyone at work noticed and so did my husband. I think I’m a changed person! I should say just for my under eye. I will definitely try the maybelline foundation next!

My favorite L’Oreal mascara is the voluminous false fiber lash. And I’ve used the clear mascara on my dogs hair to try to keep it out of their faces at shows.

Vitamin C serums are really good for brightening. I haven't been watching for long, but insta natural's worked really well for my sensitive skin that is super dry in winter and super oily in summer.
I just tried a primer that’s supposedly a dupe for your favorite Becca backlight primer. It’s the Physician’s formula Spotlight illuminating primer. I found it at CVS. I would love to hear your thoughts on it. I would also love to hear your thoughts on the Wet and Wild stained glass lip gloss. It’s a long lasting lip gloss that actually stains the lip and it’s perfect for no makeup makeup days. I tried the shade Handle with Care. I was a little worried that it was going to be too dark, but it’s not especially if you apply a thin layer.
I shop for makeup almost exclusively at CVS. Their reward program is the best, you get so much free makeup when you work their deals and in-app coupons. Love it!
