Do a rebuild of a conference with fully custom teams ( and yes I mean kick all teams out of a said conference and have only custom teams there) and have all Ivy League teams, Alaska, GRU, Coast guard, And Maybe a Canada college ( Toronto college Mountaineers). Also maybe you can make it a “Race to rebuild”, where you invite multiple creators ( so more than one) to go against you in a rebuild, and in this case it would be 12 people.
Came here to say this. A college kicker making a 60 yard game winner is very unlikely. The developers even made it an emphasis saying in a live stream, with Tebow and Vick, that anything over 40+ is going to be tough.
Or how he sounds like an adult book reading a run on sentence like quit the cuts and take a breath so annoying it causes me to tune out trying to show this channel love

I do think the kicking distances need adjustment in the final build. This is the 3rd or 4th video where I’ve seen a kicker from a no name school bang a 60+ yarder with distance to spare. This is college. Maybe 2 kickers in the country make that and none of them go to Rice.
It’s L2 + Square to slide, also your QB was like 1 game away from counting as a redshirt if you just waited until the Bowl games to use him. They can play 4 games + postseason and still count as redshirt
That was great, but a bit concerning that within 4 years a 1-star is 90+ ovr with a maxed out coaching staff and wins a natty. That's even easier than 14.
Adjusting his schedule before the season to try and go undefeated I feel also helps get recruits. Not like recruiting seems very hard in this build in the first place. But he is seemingly giving himself all the handicaps he can.
These specific rebuilds he’s doing are supposed to rebuild a team as quick as possible cause he’s gonna try and do one for every team and still tryna get a feel for the game. His more in depth and longer realistic rebuilds will probably come later.
The fact that he called the fleaflicker and was acting like it wasnt broken when he knows full well its open literally every time is what got me. Everyone thats playing right now is abusing all the same ish
Feels like the jet sweep is bordering on being a cheese play, so I hope they fix pursuit angles of the DBs and LBs so they do a better job of sealing off the outside
Don’t be distracted and so easy to be pleased. Don’t forgot we have waited 10+ years for this game and not only did they take away most things from 14. Like for an example you can only make 4 different positions?! I can’t be the only one who has a problem with this . Like we can’t even make a TE or a Oline or a DLINE or a FS .. can’t grind your player from high school anymore this game is over rated . We have been so easy to please and that’s why these gaming companies don’t care how bad the game is cause they know people are gonna buy regardless how bad it really is. I just ran into Bordeaux about 2 weeks ago and man, I love a channel that rebuilds programs and his in depth breakdowns, but man I think he’s got one of the most monotone voices I’ve ever heard, good lord…😂😂😂
I was also going to comment this there is no excitement for the game, or change in emotion when something goes right or wrong, I respect he is going in depth with the game, but man he needs to show some enthusiasm
Would love actual reactions to the game and the crazy moments instead of a voice over as you breakdown the games!! Will there be weird schools winning titles in every sim? No chance Charlotte wins a trophy or even makes the playoff in the next 20 years
Great video. College Football 25 looks nice! Seems like progression of user controlled teams in dynasty might be broken though? It looked like as long as the user had a decent recruiting class (not even top 20) they'd easily progress to be the top ovr rated team. You had some solid recruiting classes but they were all in the 30-60ish range. So... it didn't really make sense that Sam Houston had one of the highest ovr rated teams in the country just a few years in. I understand that the coach can make a difference in regards to player progression but still the power 5 schools who were landing top 20 recruiting classes should have had a higher ovr. In the video it looked too easy to build a powerhouse team in just a few years.

Im still really looking forward to getting my hands on this game, but I really hope the day one and subsequent patches make it harder to build up your school overall, but more importantly nerf the smaller schools consdiently making the college football playoffs. Its weird when in year like 4 group of 5 conferences dominate the rankings. Still super excited for the game and Im fine with crazy shit happening every once and a while but I think the ranking system just needs to be fixed. Charlotte wining is crazy enough but a 3 lose charlotte is never getting ranked over any 4 lose power 4 school(maybe the BIG12 but even that)
It’s the way the system works championship contender is a pitch and if a school like charlotte can win their easy conference and get a playoff seed more players will commit
@@goose5718 yeah, but the game needs to one, not have a 3 loss Charlotte have a by. A 3 loss none power 4 school will never get that bye. Undefeated, maybe 1 loss, sure. 2 loss, maybe in an insane year. 3, never. The game should also recognize making the playoffs doesn’t make you a championship contender, at least to a point. Yeah that grade should be higher if you have a chance of winning a group of 5 conference, but it should be anything above like a C+, unless you go on a run. It’s just not realistic.
It’s fun to watch these because now you know there could be some kids from Sam Houston St watching and getting amped seeing themselves. I’d say a dream come true.
Beyond excited for the game, but it seems way too easy to upgrade small schools after just one season. Gonna need house rules unless EA has addressed this before release.
@@MIGGYME1 Will definitely be playing on Heisman to start and I play every game. Not gonna leave my success (or lack thereof) up to the sim engine. I’m also planning on limiting myself to only recruit out of the “recommended” section. Since that’s what the CPU will be doing. Can’t wait to start grinding tomorrow.
@@HooDatBoyI believe that most content creators have been using the coach xp slider to make their coaches lvl up faster. I think if you crank that slider down a bit and maybe start as a coordinator you’re gonna get a much better experience
The fact the first season at 7-5 is actually a realistic record for Sam Houston this season if their offense gets going early in the season. Their defense gave a lot of good teams last year fits. They're my Dark Horse for the C*USA this year.
4 years to success with Sam Houston is a little too fast for my liking. I dont want it impossible to recruit 4 and 5 stars at a small school like some people but there definitely needs to be some tuning down here especially with 4 star recruits. I think 6-8 years is a solid sweet spot between difficulty and not having a dynasty run too long for success even though the school IRL would take way longer. 4 years for a bottom tier school is just too fast.
I remember in all the deep dives how the devs kept talking about feeling the significant difference between small and big schools, but videos like one this prove them wrong.
We desperately need a recruiting difficulty option, nobody even tries to go after one star or two star recruits since you can easily get 3 stars and even 4 stars with any team. (Yes, I know some ppl prefer the more arcade style, but having an option would be nice to also satisfy people who prefer more of a challenge and realism)
@@ratlov9983 yeah recruiting does seem easy. Although I’m less concerned about that because I personally can just not go after higher ranked players(I’ll probably only go after players recommended to me). I do think there should be a difficulty option. The bigger issue is the sim and more specifically the ranking. Charlotte winning in year 4 is mental enough especially when group of 5 teams seems to just over perform, I think the bigger issue is that Charlotte was the a top 4 highest ranked despite having 3 loses. That will never happen. Even a 4 loss big12 team is getting that nod over them. I hope the day one patch fixes some Of the ranking decisions and sim
@@mitchellima7548 Yes agreed on the sim and ranking system. I personally hate having to resort to using house rules because of the game being so easy but it does help

Wanting the (simulation) football game dynasty to be challenging, or at least have the option to set difficultly, is a completely reasonable take that has nothing to do with online dynasties. I’m still super hype for this game but there’s definitely some stuff that needs tuning

Sounds like the dev teams needs to more weight on early playing time for teams with higher prestige. Early playing time at Sam Houston doesn’t compare to a team like Ohio State.
he did also schedule against bad schools on purpose and avoided big schools even while being ranked well, he purposely made it easier on himself no offense to him

EA purposely made it harder to win sim games for 2 reasons, and it’s a good thing. 1. Encourage you to play the games 2. Make dynasty mode harder for serious players

Playing with two QBs is almost a must having a 2nd guy you trust. My running QB couldn't finish multiple games already which would've cost me the season if SMU didn't have two really good QBs
Honestly only been subscribed to you for a few months now and from the revamped rebuilds now comin into ncaa25 I’m stoked to watch your stuff. You helped me out a lot on what I’m goin into the game knowledge wise I feel like the learning curve is a bit less watchin how you move about.
I feel like recuritting is way too easy. We're gonna have to either keep it realistic ourselves, or not add skill points to our coaches (outside of coordinators) as a handicap
he started with an already created coach instead of starting with a coach without skill points. there is an option to start with no points so that recruiting is brutal i did this at purdue and wyoming in my rebuilds and the process was grueling
@@clarklandon9906 I ended up starting as an OC at Sam Houston. Have Recruiting on auto at the moment, since I figured a year one OC wouldn't have much say so over recruiting lol. Seeing our targets and signees has been brutal lmaoo . Can't wait to actually take over and do it myself
Do you ever play an entire season? I’ve only really seen you play 3-4 games a season. I always had more fun when i played every game and really, really role played it all out
Sam Houston State was an FCS powerhouse. Texas State was also labeled a rivalry because they were both in the Southland Conference. (UTSA was also Southland as a non-football school)
