Man, thanks so much for making the content you do and having such a real outlook on both musical concepts as well as life itself. I watch videos from guys like you and Kiefer pretty much every day, and both of your videos have brought me a lot of inspiration as well as something to look forward to that is both entertaining as well as educational and inspirational. The way people like you guys talk about music as a whole is so refreshing and always leaves me wanting to drop what I’m doing and run to my studio, aka my bedroom to sit down to make a beat or just practice keys or my trombone or just something creative in general lol. Also, in this new internet age where everybody is constantly posting literally rooms full of gear that seems to just be putting on a light show and collecting dust a lot of the time lol, its nice to see people such as yourself and a few other guys that post on YT such as Venus Theory etc who have constantly reminded me of the beauty of simplicity in music and the joys that not caring about the quantity or the price tag of your gear but creating a musical relationship with the gear that you have and learning to express yourself without getting caught up in trying to have the best gear or “image” but by exploring music for yourself to find happiness or whatever it brings you, and just focusing on creating the best sounds that you yourself enjoy.

Keep moving, keep pushing brah! To folks out there ever thinking you need another piece of gear. You got everything you need! It’s a mindset, thoughts become things, if you can imagine it, you can do it with just an octatrack, or ableton, or a Dr sample and a pocket operator. Keep going.

Yeah. That Allen & Heath mixer.. crazy good. I've rewired and shuffled my space around like three times, and then on the fourth attempt.. I just stalled. I haven't got it back together yet. One of my old monitors I've had for 20 years died, so I upgraded my monitors. Then my mixer goes on the fritz.. so now I gotta get that repaired. But this is inspiring, Jon. I'm gonna get there too. Peace.

I don’t really have alot of knowledge about anything Jon says on the technical level. But I can’t stop watching the channel. Mainly because seeing someone do something they’re passionate and very good at is awesome. Also the tunes are amazing. A fly on the wall I am. Very excited.

dude im just one of the 50 + thousand, but i hope you know how epically crucial you are in the music scene at large right now. there are a few of you out there who inspire so many to make so much good music, actual quality with substance...and hell, if you inspire some less than awesome musicians to make some ok stuff than that's pretty bad ass too. i for one wanna say thanks, i discovered you right before the 'ronna virus put us in our caves.
