I have such a dumb idea l… rebuild a team with only people who’s names are things (IE Carr, Cousins, Burrow, and Love for QBs)

10 year carrer sim of the greatest headcoach of alltime. Mikey McDingle! U start of with a random team, leave coach firing on and try to win as many superbowls / coach of the year awards as possible. (for a lil bit of a challenge set the season goals high so u might end up getting fired which makes it a lil tougher)

Day 27 of commenting this rebuild idea: make an expansion team (relocation) and follow these rules. You can take 1 player from each team but the teams get to protect their starter roster. This roster would be qb1, rb1/2, wr1/2/3, te1/2, each starter on the oline, le1, re1, dt1/2, lolb1, rolb1, mlb1/2, cb1/2/3, ss1, fs1, k1, and p1. You'll then have a 32 man roster that you can fill by signing free agents. But your team is a new team on a low budget so you can only sign free agents to 1 year deals starting preseason week 1. However you resign whichever players you want for however long you want. You can also make whatever trades you want. For the draft you let the cpu pick to spice things up. You end the vid once you win a super bowl.

When you do rebuilds like this where you bench them the first year you should give them like +5 to overall at the end of the first year because you’re starting them for a reason over the veteran and they developed behind him for a year and deserve to get a boosted overall from the learning

(In fairness CB was rd 2 pick 32, but close enough). Because let's see what you do. And I want tips lol.

You mentioned wanting only the new rookies in the yearly awards. Since you're on PC, you can download or i can give you a save file that will start you immediately after the draft. This would also mean that all the teams have the right draft picks for year 1 of the rebuild and all the teams will have the players they just drafted irl

Spencer Rattler isn't a 66 OVR. That might be the Rd 5 go to rating, but he legitimately should get a Rd 2-3 rating...where he should have gone. I'd give him a 70 OVR personally.
