Only a few episodes back into SENSEC, and I am already regretting my decisions...
Welcome back to the Super Expert No-Skip Endless Challenge (SENSEC for short) where we try to beat as many Super Expert levels in a row in Mario Maker 2...WITHOUT skipping!

Here's why i keep watching @dgr,. The guy has a no-quit attitude that is lacking from culture. You grinding out some of these levels keeps me glued to your channel. My kids are blessed to watch this. Also what the golf episodes

Man... Seeing Dave keep getting rejected by the timing of that bob-omb/on-off combo was tough to witness, lol... I fully empathized with him on each and everyone. Its exactly what would happen to me too. How his controller stayed in one piece is the sign of a professional.

Easy for *me* to say since I'm not the one playing the level in a SENSEC run, I know, but I feel that that desert level is undeserving of the bad rap you gave it while you were playing it, Dave. It looks aesthetically pleasing and well put-together, and I've never before seen a level (in any platformer) with a randomizer that changes the whole way it's played.

Stage 2 would have been SO much nicer if they put a one way facing up at the beginning of the room so you can reset through the one way pipe. That aside, the level was atrocious.

I wonder if the randomizing effect would be broken if there were no start to the level. Maybe it wouldn't have been beat-able from any mid-point, because all the random bits would be borked.

That could've been solved by simply sticking checkpoints at both divergent paths (i.e. one at the very start of the Superball sub-world area) and rigging things so that no matter which checkpoint you end up on, things still line up properly. Make the randomizer only matter until you get past it.

The randomizer level should have had a checkpoint at least at the start of each diverging path so you didn't need to do the start every time
