That spoiler is not $3000 from Ford. The dark horse spoiler is about $3000. You can actually buy that same exact spoiler aftermarket for $399. And you’re getting rattles and creeks because you’ve altered the suspension and made it much tighter. You also tinkered with the exhaust. That’s a common issue when these things are done. Pretty much on any car. The S650 is the most fluid/luxurious/best behaved mustang to date! It is not faster/crazier/blah blah blah. But it is a much nicer drivers vehicle
Soon as people start putting aftermarket parts on thats when the issues like NVH start.. Leave the cars alone and I promise you your car will be worth more in 5 years then if you do a bunch of Mod's.. Soon as you Mod a car you actually lower it's value.. It shouldn't be that way but thats how it is.. I have a ton of friends who dumped 10K to 15K in their cars over the course of 3/4 years and that is money they will never get back out of the Car.. A prime Example are Euro Tail Lights.. They are over $800 bucks and once you take the stock lights off and put them on you have lowered the cars value. Not to mention that the Euro lights look like shyt on certain color Mustangs too. Any car no matter make or model will always be worth more 5 to 10 years later if left stock.. Example a CAI, does the same thing it lowers the value and usually within 2 months you will have a check engine light you can't get rid of.. I see it all the time and have been through it myself... And that's all good if you live in lawless State, that has no inspection rules or regulations. And they don't care if you pull the cat's, then more power to you... But I live in NJ and we need to pass inspection here. So I don't do any Mod's that can cause a check engine light ever anymore.. I did full bolt on's and a Tune on my Nissan 6 years ago and I swear the car was way faster but within 2 months it had a check engine light that will never go away and years later it's still running but not well... It's got an AFR issue but anyway looking back at all the money wasted and the fact that It has a ton of aftermarket parts it's worth nothing and no one but me!! I have a friend doing this to himself right now with a Foxbody Notchback.. He's got 40K into it and no one would ever give him more than 15k to 20k at the most. (I'm being generous too..). But anyway, It's your money do what you want... But I will end with this if you don't want to drive around with check engine lights on, On your car for the next 10 years stay away from aftermarket parts and Tunes... A tune is one of the worst things you can do to ruin the value of your car truth be told.. I know that won't be popular but it's the truth...
Beautiful Mustang! That’s one of the best looking Race Reds I’ve seen. I noticed the DH spoiler right away. Did you add Nite Pony badges or are those still the bronze ones? Mirror caps painted black would look nice to match the spoiler and roof. Thanks for sharing!

The s650 really is growing on me. i saw a race red GT, and it was beautiful. Im still gonna stick with my PP1 GT premium because it only had 32k miles, but i do think about that 650 from time to time
I absolutely hate Ford but I'm a Ford salesman. I almost feel bad about selling this gimmick to people but they sell like mad and the money is good so I just keep my mouth shut. The only sale I ever blew was when a guy came in with a clean Widebody 392 Challenger. I actually talked some sense into him and stopped him from doing something very stupid, like trading in a Widebody 392 Challenger for a mustang. I'm going to break your hearts 😐 the S650 is literally the exact same car as the S550 with the same exterior panels just made bigger. Then you have the stolen BMW iPad dash 😂 Hopefully this doesn't hurt my bottom line, but I doubt it. I've learned a lot from mustang people and it's hard to feel sorry for someone who simply has no sense.
I think we all want to see how the Shelby will look bc so far the GT and the Dark Horse have disappointed. I heard the dark horse is pretty good performance wise but to me it’s just a tuned up GT.

i hate the current trend of these screens looking like an ipad fixed to the dash. it seems like the dash was designed and the displays were an afterthought. it looks dumb

See, the middle part of the screen is dumb. The trim is called premium but they won’t put a better screen in. Sounds like a base would be just fine and can always swap the cloth seats out for the preimums
It aesthetically looks better imo as well. Has a solid rear end for those of us into drag racing and such. 6r80 has been proven time and time again to handle all the power. They just went 6s with one at tx2k. Gen 1 coyote is okay…. But the rest of the car makes up for it. Plus who cares, if anyone wants to make a assload of power just buy a sleeved gen 2 shortblock. S650 interior is HIDEOUS, it looks like a EV with all the dorky screens just popping out raw like a cheap benz or a tesla. Gross! It has the bodylines of a gen 6 camaro.
Cool video, where did you get the matt screen saver and how did you manage to put the pony on the RTR grill or are these just LEDs added to the factory grill? Regarding taillights we won't be having the white ones here in Europe for the gen VII but red as in the US, they are a bit different though, like 3/4 are the lights and the last quarter is the turn signal (more of an amber colour). Probably due to regulations. You can see an example here at 11:13 (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1Oprbb6YQiU.html). So not sure if Ford or a 3rd party will be making white ones. Waiting for my Dark Horse like a kid should arrive next month or in July, was able to get a good deal on my 2015 GT.
Thanks! I glued 2 rivet nuts behind the pony and put a backing plate behind the grille and screwed in 2 screws into those nuts. I know some companies are working on them but time will tell

Bro with the mods you did you should have bought a Dark Horse. I looked at one like yours for 62k and bought my Dark Horse for 68k only a 5k difference.

I would get one but I cannot justify the price! Holyyyyy inflation! If I did buy it would be 401a, performance pack, nite pony, active valve, magneride, grabber blue paint with grabber blue calipers. 63k msrp hahaha.
The 2025 Mustang should go back to the S197 13/14…body style with this interior . Now that’s a dream muscle car. After 2014 all mustang lost its American muscle look…it looks like a European muscle car.
