The journey continues! I can see now why it is so popular there! That launch compares to our launch here in BC Canada (Lumby) with the astroturf. It's a great surface to launch from and protect the wing. I was also away for 2 weeks so need to catch up on your videos ;) Thank you for posting!
It was my first time flying here too and I was absolutely fascinated as you could hear/see my reaction 😅 To be hoenst, the surface was I think the best I ever launched from. Really awesome video but I don't think it's more beautiful than Switzerland. I'm thinking it's the angle the camera is shooting from and of course your excitement!! Also the clouds and mist added a mystery to the background. Just guessing cause I'm no photographer lol! I cannot help thinking that surely National Geographic would be interested in a video and photographs from your epic Adventure!!
I thought of that too... Switzerland's scenery, vibe and mountains are otherworldly 😍⛰️. I think every country has something unique and special in their own way. I actually paid more attention to capture more on the helmet camera than in Switzerland 😁. That's so nice of you to say that national geographic might like this footage... I guess I captured a lot of beauty on my journey, it's true. The adventure continues 😎😉
Amazing videos. I love your channel. Just one critic. The music volume is super anoying. I have ti lower it every time hahahhaha. Any recomendation on how to travel to annecy from spain? How much does it cost to bring the paraglider on the plane and where did you sleep?
Hey buddy, I do appreciate a lot your message and your kind words. Very happy to know that you love the videos 🙏🏼😊. Yes, I know, the music is sometimes or even most of the times louder than the rest. I noticed that too, but didn't think it's that bad. I will pay more attention to that in the future 😅. A paraglider in the plane costs between 50 - 70 € per flight. @@LukeSchneider Funny that you mention Mont Blanc... Well, on this day when I had this flight, I didn't see Mont Blanc because the atmosphere was charged and it was cloudy. Not sure if you watched my flight from Salève mountain close to Geneva city. There I reached 1600 AMSL and had a clear visual on it... On camera of course it's not that good. I looked on my flight log on this annecy flight, and the strongest thermal was 5.5m/s 😉
@@Dvybz I have three wings. Two Koyot4´s and a Hook5. Contrary to many believes, EN-A gliders are very good wings. I saw a video of yours, doing XC with your EN-A wing. Where are you from? I think you are from...Switzerland???
@@Dvybz You don´t how many times I watch your "PARAGLIDING MOTIVATIONAL VIDEO". I really love, when you say: "Paragliding is not about, how high you can climb in thermals, who has the fastest glider, or who can fly the craziest manoubres...It´s all about of freedom feeling, like you´ve got wings for real, even if it´s for a few minutes at a time". You are the paraglider pilot I feel identified with...👍👍👍👍
@@petrusaroesnosa7461 Hi Petrus, EN-A Glider are very good wings, especially in thermals but not so great in terms of XC flying. I managed to fly around 20 km+ on my A wing, but it is very hard against the wind. It is not as aerodynamic as a C or D wing. I am from Germany, but originary from Romania. I cycled and paraglided through Switzerland on my 90 days, 3800 km Bike Touring journey across Europe 😁
