Yeah, just entered deepwoken after months, my slot was not full health, them a silenthearth just attacked me and i was watching a video so when i saw it i was like 1 bar, i almost killed him but died
my friend got gripped by one of those losers, we looked for them for 15 mins, 5 barred his whole guild then they came back with 3 flame hero sword visionshaper builds and gripped us. they then proceeded to log after saying purge week. losers.
Nah this would be fun if it was planned, 80% of people have no pvp slots while I was in the middle of making a good pve slot to get stormseye(feels impossible since ferryman isn't instanced)
Dev planned events are more fun, as rewards are ensured. Plus, if deepwoken is starting to get “dry”, then might be time for it to get moved on from or get new devs with fresh ideas… letting something fester when it should be dead is the worst scenario for anything, as it turns it worse and worse.
Purge week is so fun! I'm totally not getting 3v1ed every single time.. If only they would run 1s instead of just mindlessly jumping you like a swarm of bees 🤔
nah its fun getting jumped by a full 4 ppl guild as a lvl 15 while they have 4 fire hero blade visionshaper builds trust (verse 2 is the worst possible time for a thing like this)
Purge week is was vastly more successful than I ever hoped. This means that we can possibly do different community events in the future! Let me know if you guys have any ideas.
My friend had just bought the game and had started to play before I joined in my max, he got wiped 10 times in a row purge week it's pretty much something I hate as a pver because I don't have pvp builds and it isn't fun to get 5v1ed on a freshie acc I like that it has brought some of the community back but all it has actually done it's make the community 10 times more toxic so it's more on the bad idea side rlly

Niggas will be saying nerd shit like "People be refusing new player events in deepwoken but than say the game is dry". You act as if niggas had a week notice to have a build made or some shit. Also wiping in deepwoken is already a common thing, all this does is make it more common. Real fun event guys 👍

Purge week itself is fine sure go duke (DUKE??? LIKE DUKE ERISA ?!??) it out on high powers go crazy but I do feel like the attack on freshies was a bit much
if deepwoken is dry... why make it drier by pushing out all new players because they keep getting ganked by max level dawnwalkers with detonation enchants... that will only make the game more dry and unfun to play... you clearly didnt think this through. (repost)

Honestly, I'm seein no downsides besides the few people bitching, I mean what do we get? Actual engaging fights and ganks are coming back to deepwoken plus, I see this game average 10-12k everyday after school hours now. Yeah, feel bad for the freshies, but aye >> Deepwoken is a difficult game with permanent character loss. Losing characters is a part of the game that should be expected.
Its very funny to get ganked by 4 people in depths but hey atleast youtbers can play on the privat server and farm everything ez without getting ganked
Being against purge week fuels it more because it causes the player base to separate between people who are for and people who are against it, the people who are for it kill everyone they see and probably won't mind being killed, the people who are against it don't want to be killed, if everyone was for it then it wouldn't change much, because no one would care much about being killed, but since there are people who are for it, and people who are against it, there are people who it affects, and the fact that they are separate will cause war in the community (the discord i guess) were people attack and defend purge week. whats with all these people being mad that people are tryna revive the game, like I get if you dont do pvp as much. but just try and have fun with it, always afk wiped 3 slots and was laughing the entire time. I died like 5 times and was having a blast, lighten up a little guys its just a game

the game isnt less dry, it's simply more annoying now. the only people profiting from this shithole are the ccs who are participating and making money off these loser glazers who cant run 1s for their life. this has simply made it so that progressing a build is 100x more annoying cus ur gonna get 4v1d every 4 minutes by brainless monkeys
I honestly expected it to be like the days when Freshies were being gripped for luck, but it's even worse - More people spread out over more servers, with the highest amount I've seen being like 11 people, the game never felt emptier!
Me and the bois are stationed at fort merit, we will LITTERALLY go onto a single iron clad and deploy where ever chaos is to do a little trolling and have a little fun
I mean the main premise is good... if you have 26 maxed pvp slots, because as soon as you try to progress you know damn well a whole guild of max players is gonna get on your poor freshie
