OMG 😂 The Vlog we have all been waiting for 🙌. You have NO idea how badly I’ve wanted to fly to the UK and put away your kitchen for you 😆. My OCD was struggling watching it sit there for days, lol. And, yes, as you use your kitchen, you will get a feel for where things should be and what makes sense for you. Thank you for the vlogs ❤. I know it’s a lot of work, but they are so enjoyable and real

Me and my partner have been in our new house 3/4 months and we’re still living among boxes and mess! Don’t rush and get cheap furniture you know you’re going to get rid of, save the money and put it towards something you’ll love! Enjoy doing things piece by piece, there is no rush to get everything packed away, you’re there forever! Xx

Definitely, I feel those moaning are the ones who never moved 😂 I was so prepared and bought the majority of items whilst waiting to complete in 2022…no chain and first time buyer even dragged out 😂 I also started a new job and caught Covid at the same time. Boxes and sorting every day 😂

For your Le Creuset shelf, my mum has this trick of putting her heavy dishes on long trays (length ways) so she can slide them out easily by the handle and reach stuff at the back and then just slide things back in, instead of lifting all out. Turns every shelf almost into a drawer function and it’s SO useful with heavier things. The house looks beautiful xx

To solve your filtered water situation, you can get a whole house filter! Not only will this make the water out of your taps safe for drinking, it's also so much better for your hair and your skin!

Those shelves are put up with rawl plugs and anchored into the wall hun don’t be afraid they can hold a lot of weight and are well made with good quality brackets put the scales up

Do you have an old recipe or something from your Grandma? Maybe for the back wall by the mixer you could get a blown up print of a hand written recipe from her. Or a high quality photo of something you've baked. Maybe a mini gallery wall of a few of those sorts of things.

I’m loving your kitchen!! The space you had mentioned that you wanted to put something on the wall…..I’m thinking a wall clock would look very nice there👍 (( I’m so jealous of your Le Cruset collection ❤️)) I can’t wait to see where you put your grandmothers scale!! What a lovely sentimental piece to have in your kitchen!!! (You can always switch your drink fridge out for a wine cooler if that would suit your needs better. OR keep all your diet cokes in the smaller fridge)😅

just a thought you could temporarily store the boxes away in the cupboard in your bedroom (unless of course it’s already filled) I adore watching you, you have done such a fabulous job thus far of putting things away,

For the wall behind the kitchen aid, I would do either one bigger or a few smaller frames with brass finish (if more than one, all symmetrical) with pretty citrus prints. Though it would be something subtle and elegant 🍋🍊 so happy for you!

Happy 1 week of being in your home Emily. I'm so happy your kitchen Island has been cleared your kitchen is my dream it's so spacious & so many cupboards its lovely. A coffee station is a great space to have in a kitchen. I'm having to buy a baker's racks and put in my dining room, so I have space in my Kitchen to do prep. I have to use my hob or sink to do my prep on my butcher's block. I am enjoying all your daily vlogs I would put your grandma's scales in a place where you will be baking or in that display cupboard where you have your jugs. You do look very happy & content.

Emily! I feel like you'll appreciate this organising / cleaning tip I saw! When you were saying about under the sink caddies you could have 2 baskets for cleaning bits. One as your weekly go to's and one as your monthly 'deeper cleaning' products. So then you can grab and go with lighter bits you need, rather than everything everywhere all the time! Xx

Also…some advice from a much older woman. If you have things in boxes that you haven’t needed or used in a year, pass it on. You don’t need it. Even if it has sentimental value, if it’s just going to be sitting in a box or drawer for years, there isn’t a need to keep it. Memory boxes are great for keeping the most special things and then you can display the boxes on shelves. That has been what has kept me sane through the years and helped my life not feel cluttered.

Can you store any bits that don’t have a home yet under your bed? Your ikea big plant would look so cute next to the sofa in the snug, everytime you film in the kitchen I think it would meld the two spaces together really well. Every day since you moved in, your morning and evening energy is so much higher and it shows all over your face. That sky window with rain at night, I can not think of a more natural therapeutic session before bedtime. Plus it is easy for a plumber to split the line for your filter before the heating element and run filtered water to the faucet next to the hot water tap for cold water.Have a great day! P.S. My opinion is to wait until you get your storage built and just keep one of your rooms as a storage room for the time being.

Love it! ❤ i feel your 2nd sink makes the room feel larger too like wider i fear if all one side was floor to ceiling cupbaords it would have felt a little enclosed and cramped! Plus its another excuse to get yourself more flowers as you've got more places for them to go😂 xx

Hot taps are literally life changing. You can get them for a really reasonable price now as well. Also very safe to stop scolding.

I remember doing a journaling exercise. We had to write without stopping for an amount of time, like 3 minutes. At first it was hard but, became much easier.

Maybe use the draw that the flours are in as your ‘random’ draw once the flour is put into their containers ♥️ it makes more sense to keep it separate from all the other kitchen stuff xxx

maybe you should organize the "things" back into boxes of which room you want them in. Say you have some things that belong in the kitchen make a kitchen box, put them all in that box. Take the box to the kitchen and deal with it later etc...

On that back wall I would buy a bunch of different sized cutting board/ charcuterie boards and hang them on the wall. Also different stained wood boards! Small , medium and large boards. And I would also get a large beautiful wood charcuterie board to leave on your island that you can prep food on and not risk staining your counters . And the wood adds something different to a completely white counter
