With your experience you will come to understand what some of us go through in this country with a high cost of living ranging from very high cost of accommodation, high cost of tuition fee, expensive cost of food items, car insurance, high interest rate on credit cards, phone bill, internet and cable bills etc. particularly living in Toronto. Canada 🇨🇦 is not what I thought to be😢. I feel like it is about time our leaders to reform Ghana to stabilize the youth from transferring their skills and knowledge to a different country. When coming on student visa ...you need to have atleast 3,000 cad dollars on you because you don't know exactly when you get work to do to support yourself and pay fees. Now jobs are difficult to get in certain parts of Canada. Do your research well and avoid highly populated provinces.
I'm a caregiver for a family member here. My health problems have worsened since I came to canada. My back is destroyed, i have panic attack everyday, palpitations which i never had before and depressed. I am unable to sleep and this makes it difficult to do basic tasks. So i understand you. Everyday i think on how to tell them that i wish to return home. I will really disappoint them but everyday i feel like im dying slowly😢😢😢😢. I just need help on how to overcome my anxiety and panic attack that makea sleeping impossible and back pain. Going home is really not the best but i can be this miserable forever.

Generally speaking immigration in canada is not as smooth as the government of Canada make outside country think. There are a lot of roadblocks and inherent immigration requirements that are not explained correctly to many immigrants who wants to come and stay in Canada. It is about time some Ghanaians do a thorough research before considering to come to canada. If in doubt one must seek proper immigration consultant or persons who are experienced in immigration matters.
My friend what is not smooth? He is a lazy guy period . Come to Germany and Uk and see . It’s extremely difficult to get papers when you overstay. In the UK and 🇩🇪, you have to go back to Ghana before you can marry somebody to get papers whereas in Canada you can still apply inside Canada and get papers.
Please advise the guy to pray and come to Ottawa. There seem to be more opportunities. There are more jobs in Ottawa. He can stay in the city run shelters until he finds employment.
If u came with student visa money shouldn't be your priority first,u only need what to keep u going not family back home,u benefit more after school,life abroad is time.

Milo do you know that some Ghanaian students want work which pays more than the minimum wage. I told a Ghanaian student about getting him a job . He asked about the wage of which I told him it’s the minimum wage. He complained bitterly so I stopped looking for a job for him.

I introduced one person who went for an interview and got employed immediately. Later called the company that he is no more interested since then anytime I refer someone he or she is not employed

If all these people currently complaining about Canada were able to do their research properly on their own, I believe strongly that all these mess and pain would not be happening. If you remember, when filing the form, living expenses were $10,000 plus before moving to $20,000 plus. If you come with any of this amount, you don't have to complain about staying for just three months. This is one of the reasons why the living expenses were increased because of too many complaints.

Sorry but i got no sympathy for this dude. The guy just got into the country not long ago and expwct things to pick up and hit it big. Some came here years back and it took a while for things to fall in place. Most of our folks coming from ghana dont do their homework. They come here short of finances and resources and expect people here to just help them when they also got their own situation going on.

This Guy has no travelling experiences and needed to have been schooled to the core thoroughly before embanking on this international travel. For me, I will say that, much as I congratulate him for reaching Canada, on the other hand, if he had travelled through the scorching desert to Europe and had finally attained the requirements to have arrived in Canada after months and years prior to be hardened to resist the trials and temptations in Canada, he would have highly appreciated events and even his present status.
