i remade EVERY mob in Minecraft BETTER (compilation) 👍SUB IF YOU HAVEN'T 👾 DISCORD -dsc.gg/rainey 🐦 TWITTER - / ra1neyx #minecraft #raineyx #minecraftmod
The reason your textures are bugging like that is your model has the block inside each other. If you have 2 faces that are in the exact same place, the textures of both faces phase in and out with eachother. Because neither are above the other it starts to "glitch out".
Ok these obviously look awesome and way better and detailed then the original game but the reason they’re not like that in the original game is because the ones in the original are simple
The only thing I'd be okay with is something like the Fresh Animations resource pack. It brings way more life to the mobs without changing them at all. I'm playing with the Bare Bones, and shaders to make it feel like the trailers. It's a great experience.
Argh, these are painful. I understand that a lot of people, especially kids, will prefer these to the original ones because of the "higher detail", but as an artist it's just painful. It's nice seeing someone having fun and being creative though! And I hope you keep practicing and learning new skills. (Learn some pixel art and texturing beyond just adding noise, I swear it's gonna look so much better you'll see.)
I liked this video at the begining. I watched you make simple but impactful changes. Like the spider! All you did was move some stuff and add a few things but it still kept it realtively minecraft! It even looked nice in game. However.....after that, you made the deisgns too complicated, the textures dont feel nice and some of them stray too far from the design or just look straight up not as nice as the orginal.
@mist the smokewing It slowly just got less like improving and remaking the mobs but just completely changing them and sometimes making them stray too far from the actual design.
you remade them, yes, but the only one that actually turned out better was the spider, and in some cases, they got a little worse, just my opinion, y'all entitled to yours
Yes, they stray too much away from MC's artstyle and are way too over modeled imo. The textures could also use some work. More ≠ better, and i think this is a great example of that
The zombies riding chickens and skeletons riding spiders are jockies... A jockey is very rare to encounter but are slightly harder than the two mobs separately
How do u not know whats waterlogging? You can waterlog anything that has a airpocket and allays hold your items and whatever item the allay holds it looks for the same item and gives to you
The elephant was a cool idea it would be nice if minecraft made it so you could add your own mobs but still keep the default ones without mods or recoding your game
Checked this out just for ideas to redraw/ redesign some Minecraft mobs (plus making a sketch of an idea of a new mob) and I gotta say that this is a fantastic video! All the redesigns are awesome, especially the Warden! The Warden is what I really want to redraw, the original looks ok but I always felt like it needed some touch up on it.
I feel like the Ravenger would be better as a Rhino and it makes more sense since they are more aggressive to people and it does the head ram animation.
A few issues with the passive mobs. The eyes need to be on the front like real life creatures. Mainly pigs and cows. The shouts on both of them was too big as well. Needed to be a bit smaller
Real life creatures don't all have eyes on the front. Overall the positioning of the eyes depends on the animals evolutionary niche. If an animal needs to watch out for predators then it has a better chance of survival with eyes on the sides, as it gives it better peripheral vision. If an animal needs to chase prey it needs to have good vision in front of it, meaning it is more likely ro survive by having eyes in front. Of course there's plenty of nuance to how animals evolve their type of vision. Anyways. Cows have their eyes on the sides.
@@Kiwi-fl8te but also. to the commenters credit... THESE pigs and cows were straight up staring at us with no face essentially. it was kinda creepy. so thats why the eyes need to be on the front here. regardless of what is acccurate to real life.
It's actually my fist time comementing on this channel although I have been watching his videos from past year. But man RaineyX is literally the best mob remaker I have ever seen. Others just retexture the mobs which looks kinda boring. But Rainey is just awesome. Btw, can you give the compilation of the mobs download so I can see them better in vanilla mc? Anyways great video as always.
When you made the Ravager into an elephant I feel like you could’ve gave them armor because the Ravager is used for war and sometimes back then elephants were used for war because of its sheer size and strength
Bro.Rainey,You just got a sub Bro.This is the most PERFECT mob remaker I’ve ever seen since I was born!RaineyX is the best mob remaker I’ve ever seen to be honest.Others retexture or remake the mob in a way that isn’t good. But you,You make the best mob remakes I’ve ever seen!Rainey you are literraly epic,I should’ve subscribed a long time ago!and if you say otherwise,You need some mental help.
I feel like complicated mobs that was shown during this video isnt something bad, it just doesnt go with the original game, if a mod pack were made to turn this into a more high definition world with more work on the trees, the texture to make it look more realistic, these mobs are going to fit better, but in og minecraft? It seems a bit out of place as if its way more complex than the trees and everything else.
I kinda hope in the new update they renew the animations for older mobs. with the newer mobs having much more complex animation compared to the more classic ones, I find it a little inconsistent. just an idea though.
Nice video, the only thing is that the ravenger is the way it is because Mojang is trying to stray away from making hostile animal mobs, since this can pass on a bad impression for the kids. So making it a elephant goes against that philosophy, that being said, your model rocks
I was going to suggest offsetting one of the blocks by a tiny amount since the textures are in the same location on the plane but this shit was 4 months ago I’m beyond late but yeah since they’re on the same position they’re constantly fighting to appear on top of each other
Because it's minecraft, beyond all classic towards a new thing. (Updates included, special mob packs are used by players who don't want a minecraft that looks normal, but old and ect, ect, ectttttttttt-) Anyway *this was a cool video based on the mobs.*
i think if you had shortened the ears of the polar bear it would've looked a lot better with the elongated spikey ears looks just like a chonky version of your wolf before
This shows the compare between the original and the secondary one So many mobs that you have made are so horror or dangerous but not the original one ha
the Enderman honestly does look pretty good actually although the texture's could have been done better because like he is black like the void like he is pitch black without and other grey's and stuff to make it pop a little bit more but besides that I do like it
Personally I love the enderman style you did,It reminds me of all the old stick animations i watched and In Itself,Its SIMPLe..wait why did you make the zombie LOOK LIKE TRICKYYY?!
One thing i would love to be added to minecraft is the variety, for example you probably at least one time, chose to tame a horse that is prettier than other horse that u think its uglier even if it has more life or smthng, and rare mobs like the blue axolot, and i hate that all wolves are the same and cows and pigs and even mobs like zombies and all tht, if they added variables to all mobs and some secret ones minecraft would be even better. (all my opinion) btw loved the vídeo
