Actually the thylacoleo would have been closer to apex because of its bite force and claws. they were actually closer related to koala than any cat like animals such as a lion because of its teeth and climbing skills. 😊
@@FelAhKiin yeah maybe not plains but we have evidence that they mostly lived in steppe regions like a location called the, "Mammoth Steppe" in Siberia that was home to a large amount of mammoths and other large herbivores.
@@triciaorr898 mammoths did live in the artic but they mostly lived in southern russia, europe, and north america. The last mammoths did live in a russian island before they went extinct around 4,000 years ago.
I think that the Megalania’s enclosure should’ve been the size of the mammoth enclosure , because every animal needs a certain size of enclosure so I think the Mammoth Enclosure would’ve been a good size
Cow --> Auroch Turtle --> Some common ancestor from the Triassic or Permian Ocelot --> Leopardus vorohuensis(?) Terror bird --> A bird probably similar to the red-legged seriema that lived during the Eocene
Fun fact couple years ago after the original mammoth extinction there was a creature called the Colombian mammoth And fun fact megalania was related to the Indonesian Komodo dragon
could of raised its head a bit more to display more on the fact it was a monitor lizard because by how low the head was it did look like a brown crock monitor lizards and most lizards in general lift their heads a lot of the time in a natural stance
I think the thumbnail should've been a bull instead of a wooly mammoth because that's what cows used to look like. Plus, they look nothing like and aren't related to elephants, so it's a bit of a silly decision. I'd love to see a video like this more based in science.
Better version of the title would be making prehistoric animals and not making animals prehistoric. My main issue is that you turn them into prehistoric animals that are in no way related to their modern-day counterparts. It would be so much better if you made what actual prehistoric versions of these animals would be. The modeling and animations and stuff were pretty good, but it's an almost wasted effort for lack of accuracy. I'm not talking down on you. I'm just offering some constructive criticism. Since a realistic version of this video is a wasted opportunity.
