While this mod is good, the models just stick out like sore thumbs, the zombies especially should have been left to cook a little longer, maybe one you get to pool, try having an HD render of art from PvZ1 (meaning no PvZ2 bs) as a point of reference, as for the models already made, I will mostly be addressing a few changes I’d personally make as well as some gameplay changes General: plants don’t take knockback as they are supposed to be rooted into the ground, plants also can only be planted on grass, dirt, dirt paths, course dirt, mycelium, sand, basically any grass/dirt like substance, and shooting plants have rather long range, I’d say Peashooter would have a 13X13 range, Snow Pea would be the same and Repeater would have a 15X15 range Peashooter: add the bottom lip of the mouth, make the leaf at the back of his head a different green than his head, give him 4 base leaves like he (and all the stemmed plants) has (or have), make the surrounding bits of the eyes the same color as the head, and make him shoot a pea every 2 seconds Basic Zombie: maybe make sure every part of the zombie is colored properly and add some extra details like shading and small strands of hair, personally if I made the model however, I’d take the SPvZ approach and have the zombie itself look like a PvZ zombie but still keeping the look of the Minecraft Zombie, also for the limb and head drops, you could probably make those into animations, not droppable items, that also applies to broken armour Sunflower: the only fixes I can think of are fixing the back of it's entire body, change the base leaves to 4 (and maybe rotate them so they are more of a cross shape which is how they base leaves generally represented) and flip the eye colors Flag Zombie: the flag could simply just be given a wooden stick to add a bit of color contrast, other than that, it’s just the Basic Zombie Cherry Bomb: recolor the stem to brown and add a leaf at the back of the other two, optionally, you could also adjust the placement of the leaves so they look like an upside down Y shape, as for how he'd work, since 3X3 is rather small for Minecraft, I’d personally change it to a cantered 5X5 area, but if you prefer, it could just be a centred 3X3, meaning Cherry Bombs would just break one block down rather than two which can be toggled with the Mob Griefing cheat Conehead Zombie: again, change the drop to an animation, give the cone details and use Basic Zombie as a base Wallnut: remove the already existing eyes, move down the mouth, give him an actual smile (of course with his expression changing once at lower HP), draw on more accurate eyes and fix some of the visible errors Potato Mine: maybe add more dirt around it, fix some incorrect colors, make the antenna base the same length horizontally, make the arming state into its own model, and maybe reduce the size of its hit box since you can see at 8:52 that not only does almost every Potato Mine take damage but also 3 die just to kill one Basic Zombie Pole Vaulting Zombie: add hair, some extra detail, make the pants into shorts, and give his jump just enough height to jump over 1.5 blocks but in turn, reduce how far it can jump Snow Pea: maybe fix up the crystals and eyes, change the base leaves, fix the bottom of the mouth, make the color of the frozen peas lighter as well as add some snow over the upper back of the frozen pea model (also, make sure the frozen peas are separate models from normal peas) and make him shoot a pea every 2 seconds Chomper: make the stem purple and attach it to the back of his head, add the insides of his mouth, make the spikes go down the center of his head, change the base leaves, maybe tweak the animations so they don’t look as janky (and if you didn’t program it, give Chomper the ability to digest zombies and become usable again after 20 seconds), and lastly, make sure the animations play at the right time as Chomper's digesting animation pretty much plays as soon as you plant it Buckethead Zombie: same as Conehead Zombie, just with a Bucket rather than a cone Repeater: you effectively already explained the changes for me when making Repeater's model, only I’d make the leaves look more like leaves and all 4 leaves would be pointing out into different directions, other than that, he’s the same as a Peashooter (and of course, he shoots 2 peas every 2 seconds) And lastly, just so the mod is survival friendly, each plant can also be spawned with Seed Packets which you can either craft or obtain after trading with botanist villagers
@@SoyoCraft , this has ALOT of problems, like for example, all plants will jump around when hurt, not good, 2nd, make actual lanes for the zombies to walk on, because the move off to other lanes sometimes, also not good, and finally, put those zombies back in the oven! Their not bad but you should put them back in the oven for a few minutes if ya know what i mean 😏
