Thanks! In my latest video I cover removing markers in a few different ways. Tracking objects that move 360 degrees is quite difficult. Blender wont be able to track something that doesn't have 8 markers throughout the entire shot that don't get covered so you'd have to hand track it

They're very helpful. Although a lot of the time there's still some manual work to get the track perfect

I tracked them individually and then used a node called transform masked with a roto node plugged into it and the tracking matchmove applied under it. It lets you move an area of pixels from another part of the frame into the mask. So I just used a bit of skin next to each marker to get rid of them

It's just a little compositing trick. I tracked in a frame of the wall over my head to remove my hair. Then I keyed my hair with a luma key to isolate it and put it back on top of the frame of the wall. And then I did a little warp on it as the helmet closes so it looks like it goes underneath

Thanks! All the VFX are done in Blender and Nuke with the editing, grading and sound design done in Davinci Resolve. Yes I did it all by myself (except the model) so it's definitely possible to do it all by yourself

They're available for the purpose of seeing how I set up the scenes and comped the renders but I'd prefer if you didn't use them for an exact replication of my video. If you take the rig and do your own thing etc, totally fine! A few people just basically put their face onto my renders which I'd like to avoid

Thank you. I matched the suit to how it looks on the opening scene of the film. Whenever people say stuff needs more scratches and dirt etc it's usually a pretty amateur comment because they don't understand subtly. If you look closely there are fingerprints, dried water marks, scratches and many more textures on the suit. They're just not super bold which is far more realistic

Then why did you say the lighting and look-dev is off??? It's lit with an HDRI taken on location. It literally couldn't be any more accurate

@@AlfieVaughan To get into one of the Detail, you can see reference which is Iron- Man 3 suit up scene, His metal suit is not that glossy and has sort of satin brushed metal finish, its more toward rough and light is getting spread on the surface, which is missing in your Lookdev, I see you have added dried water marks and some more imperfections and micro details which is good and brings some realism to it in close up shots, yours does have roughness at various places but you could work more on it and could have matched better. and because of this your lighting looks a bit off, not in all shot but at mid and long shot it feels disconnected! this is just my personal comment and I think it could have been better! Other than that when taking a HDRI on set its a good practice but in some shot you could have painted-out some lights from HDRI (creative choice to remove some visible light in reflection), for eg we can see on your face it's top light and have some shadow downwards gives a good shape, but for CG part, due to too much "light" and ground reflection, it kind of looses connection from reality! other than that there are some minor color fix, like saturation and vibrance. overall I enjoyed your work, this is just a small constructive criticism, no intent to offend as myself being a VFX artist I know how much time and efforts it would have taken, and you independently pulling off this entire video is Hatsoff.
