I Replaced the Fuel Pump & Fuel Filter on my Honda ACTY Kei Truck 

"It seems like every job on this truck...just fuckin' sucks!" I'm glad to see it's not just me :) Took me 2 hours to get a seized distributor rotor off yesterday.

I Just bought a 90' ACTY....I was thinking that ticking noise was a sticky valve on mine, gonna change my pump too....cool, great vid!!

You continue to be a driving motivator for me in terms of feeling like I can undertake this kind of project, and your videos are always honest and informative. I feel for you going through your Acty set backs, and I'm sure I'll be experiencing a lot of similar frustrations as I try to do my own maintenance on my truck. Keep up the great work! The slow starting is definitely a wiring issue with your battery or a weak starter. Clean your starter grounds first though. They are usually pretty corroded. Or your battery could have to low of cranking amps depending on what you put on

Where are the headrest on your acty? They can keep your melon from goung through the back window in an accident. Id try to find a set to replace them.

Next time if you have issues with getting those hoses loose try taking a pair of pliers and grip the hose right at the connection and twist back and forth until it breaks loose and the hose twist on the connection. Just a pro tip. Theses actys looks sweet in blue I had to paint my acty blue!!

That solved the ticking noise! 😱

Because of where you live you may want to add some dielectric grease to those electrical connectors. It helps seal out moisture and prevents future corrosion. As preventative maintenance I have been doing that on my k and other vehicles. I agree with @TurboTurdBurglar 👍🏽 about the slow starts.

You're going to ruin that starter of yours if you don't get better connections on the battery or run a proper battery.
