@@DrunkCli3nt2it goes by MLB service time, regression usually starts around 8 years in but gets really bad after 10. They need to update franchise mode, it’s so much fun but the career length and regression of players is so screwed up

@@seplays2280ehh, idk dude. I make 99 overall young players often in the show franchsie and they always regress no matter what. I find that they perform better if they start as like an 80 overall with 99 potential and then progress better. A naturally progressed 99 will perform better than an edited 99, even if they have the same stats/attributes and physicals

Sincerely, it looked to me like all of the injuries caught up to him, but how many guys enter the big leagues as phenomenal talents that don't pan out or fall of precipitously at the end of their careers due to injuries or reduced playing time?

This would be a fun series idea to do with other active notable players who are on HOF trajectories but with little postseason success. Harper, Kershaw, Goldschmidt, Arenado,Lindor, etc...

I would do two things with this type of video: 1: up his potential overall higher. If that didn’t increase, it is probably fairly low and that makes him regress quickly. (Even if it is at 95, that would keep his overall higher longer.) 2: up his injury stat. Let the man play!!

26:23 reasonably good players could end up without a contract in real life too. Brandon Belt had .858 OPS (136 OPS+ and 2.0 WAR) last year and has no contract.

Unless a player suffers serious injuries they should not start regressing before the age of 33, after that the decline should be slow until they reach like 37 or 38. Regression is based off in game service time which is so stupid. If I call up a generational talent at 20 he’s out of the league by the time he’s 32
