This makes me question what does people really wants from this game. I'm literally having issues on the opinions: From one, there's people critizing Bungie's decisions (I will still question their decisions, but not all fault is from the workers, the fault is from the upper management) and sayin' game is mid at best, and others defending the game like is their life. Ok, for the youtuber, I get it, you expected more to this game but... I can't figure what exactly. Yes, Lightfall campain was bad, but seemingly you haven't played w/Strand (except in campain ofc. Thing is the DLC wasn't planned to exist, yet they made it due to... Lack of time i think?), I will not convice you to use it, but give it a try. I don't agree on your opinion, I respect it, but I don't agree. I, when Lightfall launched, I kinda felt depressed due to the lackluster peformace and the hate towards Bungie, but when I play Onslaught I feel entretained + when I saw TFS trailers I got a bit of home on 'em ( I'm a little skeptical tho, but gotta be positive), also, they have been making changes due to community feedback (this is their first time since Halo ViDocs they have been listening us, yet they still got work to do about that) and they FINALLY have a PvP strike team (they didn't have one since Foraaken. The original team moved to Marathon). Ofc, like I said, they still got work to do, but is a little step. But, like I said, I can't convince you so, live your live and do whatever you want. To the fanboys: Jesus Christ, what's wrong with you? The guy just gave an opinion about how he feels about the game, yet you insult him like a bunch of idiotas. This is one of the reasons as for why Destiny is seen with bad eyes. Improve your behavior pls and do better. As for me: the words I gave are too long, but I hope you understand that there are still ppl who loves the game (even those with common sense like you, who critizes the game to improve) but again, I like this mode, the (ik, reused, yet some of those [if not, all] are better than the original) BRAVE weapons (to some lore degree, these weapons were banned by the Vanguard) and Superblack is not a hard-ish grind, but, it's ok to feel worried and dissappointed (I'm not at words, sorry 😅) but it's ok. I hope you come back if TFS is a success and I hope you try out Prismatic, but who knows. it’s more like literally nothing changed for the last two years all they did was reissue some old weapons and add an escalation protocol with more waves
@@00st4rboyyou right I just came back too. I bought light fall when it came out and was super disappointed. Came back a year later and there is nothing but old content. I already have all these guns they reissued, I’m not grinding for them again. All the dungeons and raids feel the same with slight differences. It’s a boring ass game.

If all you played was the lightfall campaign and 13 mins of onslaught then yeah you won’t be that impressed. Lightfall campaign bad, everything with the subclass and raids and dungeons are great. D2 is deeper than 1 match made activity and the campaign. I’m not trying to be a “meat rider” the game could be better but I still love and enjoy the game and I’ve even left multiple times from getting burnt out so I get it. Don’t force yourself, you have to wanna get the urge. I just have too much time in the game and I just see things differently, maybe it’s hopium, but it’s what I enjoy. Loved the video tho!
yep tbh that’s my problem with it after leaving for so long you have to play through all the bad content just to play the only two good activities in the game which is the dungeon and raid and it shouldn’t be like that. bungie execs can give players what they want they just refuse to do it until the game is on the edge of dying it’s an endless cycle that’s fuled even more by players defending their bad decisions.
@@00st4rboyidk if you did it but there’s exotic missions that give red borders you probably missed , mad raids & dungeons like you said, the seasonal activities that are all challenging in one way or the other. Gms are more accessible, there’s is a lot to do more than 2 activities. Especially for someone coming back. That’s the best spot to be in.
If you want that shader, you gonna have to do alooooooooot of grinding. The weapons quests…. but if you do em on onslaught, it will be easier. i just gotta do the machine gun, and pulse rifle. welcome back to destiny
It’s not that hard of a grind. The quests are relatively straightforward and can be done somewhat quick, especially with a Shuro Chi CP. The same can be said for reaching rank 17 with Shaxx by playing Onaught and doing bounties. Since it’s time gated until April 30th and is available until early June, anyone can get it done before then if they play casually.

We’re talking about the game and you just needed to jump in and say that we’re toxic and ruining the game simply for sharing insight and tips. Sure, Bungie may not always do the right thing or make mistakes, but you are overreacting and are ultimately the problem right now. Also, the game is a looter shooter. It’s supposed to always have some sort of grind no matter if you have the weapons or not. Some people, including myself, didn’t play when those returning weapons were in the game, so not everyone is tired of it. Honestly, I’ve seen way more people happy about Into the Light than those that aren’t. The shader isn’t going to be locked for this event as Bungie has already stated that it will be obtainable in the future after this event end. And the biggest thing is that all of this content you are complaining about is free and optional. No one is asking you to play the game, spend money, or hate what they made. You don’t like it or Destiny 2, that’s respectable, but complaining about it does nothing besides create hate no one asked for. You are the type of person that needs to move on because, somehow, free content that people are actually enjoying right now still makes you upset and it seems like you always find something wrong with the game to whine about. I love how all the D2 haters continually say they hate all of the things Bungie does and the game they made, yet will continue to interact with D2 only to complain about it, only make negative comments, and also be mostly incorrect on their initial stances. All you have to do is not pay attention to or play the game. It’s that simple.
Man, if you think onslaught is just reskinned escalation protocol? I'm just going to say it, you are still burnt out, and reskinned or not, classic weapons with new cool perk combos are awesome. to all the bungie defenders saying all i did was play onslaught and crucible know that i played the whole lightfall campaign off screen and still was not impressed. i shouldn’t have to go through 10+ hrs of bad content just to play 2 good activities which is the raid and dungeon. you shouldn’t be be happy to have 1 month of good content and 11 months of bad low effort content because bungie execs refuse to actually care abt players all year round. people who defended their bad decisions are the reason why the game got so shit bc the more they got away with the more they felt that they could give you the bare minimum and you’ll stfu.
i know you probably fully dont care but, the reason the fallen are in the tower is because a very long time ago on titan there was a world quest where we had to capture a methane reactor, but the hive and fallen were after it too, you had a choice to kill either the hive group leader or fallen one, canonically we kill the hive one and spare the captain, that was mithrax, he's also the one who gives us the info to lead us to the zero hour mission, and he becomes the kell of light, someone who wants to coexist with humanity, it wasnt easy to get the trust of the people, but they eventually did trust the house of light and now they live among us. the cabal are with us now because of empress caitl, calus's daughter, who wanted to bring humanity into the cabal empire to work together to destroy the darkness and especially the hive, who destroyed the cabal home world, but she wanted to rule over humanity, not as equals, but we fought her war council, with the victor having the terms of the alliance, we won and formed an alliance as equals. its actually been great to make allies of old enemies, not all fallen and cabal are allies, theres still whats left of the unified house of dusk, house of salvation, and the cabal that still follow calus, but mithrax and caitl have been great additions to the story imo, i wont comment on lightfall, all of this was pre lightfall before shit got REAL bad lol bro wont stop yapping ion readin allat 🤦♂🤣
