I used to wear the Koh Gen Do in shade113 a few years ago. I know it’s gotten more pricey, but it’s a beautiful foundation.

You should have tested the Jones Road what the foundation. Miracle balm is not meant to be a foundation.

Great vid Cindy. I'm so pleased to hear someone else not raving about the L'Oreal tinted serum. It made my skin feel tight and dry. Ironically I still always go back to the L'Oreal True Match foundations over all my high end ones that probably need to be thrown out. I only use half a pump with my fingers over sunscreen if I'm heading out during the day.

Such an interesting video, Cindy! The Jones Road is so divisive - I have two work colleagues in their 40s who love the balm but when I tried it in Libertys I thought it was horribly sticky - mind I can't use it anyway because it has fragrance. I'm still working my way through all mine, but we have some crossovers! Summer Fridays is a brand I will investigate further -I only have their lip oil right now but I do love it.

Have you done any videos on Laura Geller Balance and Brighten, or Bare Minerals BarePro, or PUR? The mineral powders on mature dry skin?

Thank you for this video. I think I’ve been applying skin tints the wrong way like a foundation and thus being disappointed. I tried the hourglass one again applying a thin layer with fingers and I now love it. You are right the L’oreal skin tint is more like a foundation. I also hate the dropper system. I use a Niod pump on the L’oreal one, it doesn’t quite fit to the bottom but near the end I just tip directly out of the bottle. Not ideal but a lot better than the dreaded dropper!!

I dont trust the sephora ratings anymore. If you filter the sponsored ones out, most of the time the product is subpar

I agree. Supergoop is too heavy for sunscreen. I use it when the sun isn't bright outside. It's hard to blend. Won't be buying it again.
