I know he can afford it, so maybe it's good that we can see how much of a scam these boxes are without taking the risk ourselves. Not even 20% returns on what he spent. But really the message should be urging people not to buy these at all. I'd be going the head office banging down the door. 😂
Let's be real here although it is a massive scam the content he makes from it probably makes it up. Although maybe I'm wrong cuz I don't know how the pay works on yt.
Thanks for doing these videos. It's a good contrast to PokeRevs videos which show them being decent. I don't think he's trying to deceive us, but I think it's likely that iconic makes the first print run of boxes have better pulls than later runs
Getting a $30ish dollar slab from a $260 dollar box is a scam. Imo, definitely avoid these and should warn others about the huge risk as well as telling people to not buy them.
When I was first selling pokemon cards at flea markets I would make 36 random packs and include 1 base set base 2 or team rocket zard in those 36 packs got to the point where kids were lined up before I got to the stand. Remember one day a woman came and she said she would buy all 36 as it was her son's birthday. However that wasn't the scheme each person could only get one and I shi! You not it was a little kid every time....I gave the mom a team rocket zard for the birthday with a jungle pack that he pulled a flareon out of. Man fun times all around but yea profits have ruined people much love to the real OG collectors still giving away cards tocthe beginners.
Man, should I get into the business of selling mystery boxes? You could still make a lot of profit and give people much better stuff than what was in this video. The level of greed in the mystery tcg box industry is absolutely disgusting.
