The Nitecore charger will charge both batteries at the same time, and quite quickly, but it has to be plugged into a Quickcharge 3.0 compatible charger to do so.
@@PeterLindgren1 haha it’s certainly a pain, but I have found a few chargers here that will do it. Obviously a poor choice on their part to not go with USB C Power Delivery instead. But way back when it was being developed presumably it was a less obvious choice? I dunno. I’m sticking with ISDT chargers myself … just a bit chonky for travel, so the nitecore is my Reluctant travel charger. Just have to remember to bring along a very particular charging brick to make it work well.

Ok but his camera settings actually were rage inducing 😂 I have my A7Siii maxed out on but rate, color depth, and I use nd filters! That’s why you buy an A7SIII! Peter should go get an A7iii if he wants to shoot those settings haha

Probably can't be done on the a7sIII and FX3, because it is a 12mp 4K cam. There's no oversampling going on in there. The A7IV is shooting in 7K and oversampling to 4k, so you can natively crop in without losing that much detail. The A1, though, should be able to do it in 4K oversampled mode.
My Nitecore charger can charge both FZ100 batteries simultaneously and it's fast charging tho. You gotta use those fast charging adapter plug (like Samsung etc) otherwise, it's normal charging speed.

I'm shocked to see that Gerald doesn't know squat about drones or action cameras, you should start getting involved there, you would definitely crush the other youtubers in that area and expand your audience quite a bit
The NiteCore chargers are actually fantastic - but you have to plug it in to a QuickCharge (QC 3.0) USB adapter for it to work properly, then the batteries will charge fast and simultaneously. I use the mBeat Gorilla Power 5 Port charger. One power cable running to an outlet, 4 NiteCore chargers plugged in to the hub all quick charging and all simultaneous. They work amazing when you use them properly
Brilliant video, such a good laugh!! Like others, super super super happy you've called out Sony on the focus breathing. I bought the Sony A1, based on your past review and am really happy with it. I also, bought the budget lens that you mentioned to get past the focus breathing issue.... that said, if/when Sony fix it, I'd happily up to at least one of the newer lenses.
2:13 Thats simply not true. His unit has to be defective if it really works as he describes. It definitly DOES charge 2 batteries at the same time (even mentiones output current for 2 batteries at the back) and it is one of the fastet USB powered FZ100 chargers out there as it uses QuickCharge. The Micro B port is the only flaw with it. Its not impossible to add USB C though, did this with mine.
great and funny video thanks! side note, this nitecore charged actually charges 2 batteries at once, most probably you have connected it to a weak power bank. Then it charges one battery.
That focus breathing thing has be sick. Spend 3500 on a camera and two days later a camera comes out for half the price with a very useful feature in it that I don't have.
