Benji, keep it up. You have now found out that staying off the bike hurts when you get back!! Even if you have to wake up at 4:30 and do 30 min consistently at Z2. Love that you are looking so much healthier than when you started!!
Maybe I'll join the Virtuslo rides so you can have another Cat D senior citizen to whoop up on. 😉 If I do those rides it will definitely be Zone 2. Probably take me over two hours to finish each one. Good job on your races.
I race cat B and sometimes will do 3 races back to back, or with a break in between them. Great training and by the 3rd race the legs are screaming lol. Great stuff Benji!!
Great job, Benji, 5 races isn't easy! For that last race you might also got dropped so hard because some were on gravelbikes, that course suits a gravelbike a bit more, you might need to push a bit more on the tarmac, but as the gravel climb is the deciding factor you want to have a benefit on there.
Man your content is really top notch, I enjoy every second of it! Remember endurance sports are all about continuity and if you stick to it you'll make insane progresses and have some of the most intense and best moments of your life!!! So don't let your inner laziness overcome you and don't overdo it either, I'd be upset if I had to miss these videos. Greetings Bro, keep it up!
This is extremely random and potentially very American of me, but when Benji posts videos like this, I always hear the song Zombie Nation in my head when he crosses the finish line. Except the words are changed from "zombie nation" to "Benji Naesen." ...I don't know if this is a thing outside the US, but here that song gets played a lot at big sports games when someone scores a goal.
In this video, I used the ZwiftHub Classic. I do have a Zwift Cog upgrade kit to change the Classic I have to a ZwiftHub One, which includes a Zwift Click, but I haven't had the time to change that yet.
