My friend Scott (@scottrickord7086) is selling his 2013 BMW R 1200 GS and I happened to see it for sale. The BMW GS 1200 is a bike I think about a lot. Even before I rode, I would see one go by on the highway and think "if I ever got into riding motorcycles that is one I'd like to ride." I reached out to him to talk about it and he invited me to come up and go for a ride! I was excited but scared at the same time. I was intimated by the large displacement and the heavy weight of the machine. He was curious about my Royal Enfield Meteor 350 so we made a plan to go for a ride together.
