Today we're back in Scrap Mechanic for more sumo battles! I wasn't feeling all too great this week so I decided to finally try the idea of making kAN's vehicle WORSE than the rest in order to sabotage him and make him lose! Boy how the turn tables have....check out the video and enjoy the shenanigans! I hope you enjoyed watching this as much as we enjoyed playing it!

You know, that would be a cool idea for the next sumo: a sabotage sumo again, but this time played straight. You prepare a certain number of quick-to-do small sabotages, and each time, the player who got second last round gets to choose 1 of those sabotages for you to apply to the player who won last round (sabotages stay permanently of course). So the closer you get to victory, the harder it becomes to win.

Tiers, so as they get more points some bigger ones come up. Like maybe remove the ability to turn right at 3 and remove forward (assuming there is a reverse) at 4. They could still pick from lower ones but some big ones in there to encourage a comeback.

Kan is immune to Debuffs. You sabotage him, and he starts winning. Then, you sabotage him again and he continues winning, and wins it all.

Spleef idea: You all build an arena, traps/obstacles, and vehicles. The Arena has holes of an agreed size. The traps/obstacles are made to fit inside the holes. The vehicles are also no bigger than an agreed size but needs to be smaller than the size of the traps/obstacles. The way this would be used is the host load the arena, you then spawn on the lift the traps/obstacles from one of the others that get attached into the holes. You then use the Vehicles from the last player. At the end of playing all 3 arena’s each person arena, traps/obstacles, and Vehicles should have been used only once. When making the traps/obstacles it’s up to the maker how many different ones that want to make but each one needs to be used at least once so long as there is enough holes on the arena so you may want to set a minimum number of holes and/or maximum number of traps/obstacles.

Personally, I think your buddy kan Cosmo had the right idea about you having the good vehicles. The first time the question in my mind is was the arena perfect and maybe that’s what you need to modify for the next set up sumo … not the vehicles, but that’s just a personal view other thing

What if you used those pistons, some suspension glitches, and a large platform to make explosive pogo sumo? Basically you move around by a pivoting large piston that throws your vehicle into the air. A suspension glitch could be used to keep the main “cab” of the vehicle upright and/or steer, but you basically have to land on and boop your competitor’s explosive barrel that’s on top of their vehicle, or knock into them midair to push them out of the arena. Idk it sounded more fun and chaotic in my head lol
