The interview for the dispatch job I entered the office I was the only man surrounded by women. The receptionist wear a blouse, pencil skirt, panty hose and pumps as she escorted me into the office. Could you accept pants as a women's only privilege if so we can train you. With out another word I said yes I'll wear the dresses and skirts the women can have the pants. Another woman said great, they must have notice I wore less than even the receptionist and it was the reason I was hired since the rest of the men couldn't fare without pants. On my first day of work I wore my my navy blue minidress, panties, heels and my trusty purse as I was eyed by the office femmes who welcomed me. They feeling empowered wearing hosiery and pants as a woman in a silk blouse, pants and heels mentored me in how to do my job. Slowly my fear of women went away as I got the hang of my job the femmes wanted some one to hand the clip boards and forms to the drivers. They didn't have luck hiring other femmes so as a gay man was the answer hence I went in to the garage. They were all women in pants looking at my dress and legs thinking who is this little thing palmed by rump saying it's real. But even then it seemed natural I wear dresses so I never felt exposed nor vulnerable. One of the straight woman had an abusive boyfriend I fell prey to a masculine trait and confronted him. He was in a tank top, jeans and sneakers I was wearing a light blue mini dress, panties, heels and my trusty purse. By happy irony the woman I was trying to defend scared him off maybe feeling empowered who is to say. In any case I found belonging and purpose in my employer wouldn't wear pants ever again but wearing dresses and skirts has not slow me down.
