The Virgin Islands (British and US) are truly a sailor's paradise... quick sails and countless anchorages. However, it's packed.. and I have always loved finding the gems off the beaten path. I have been eyeing this spot for a while and I found a couple days to escape to it.. and it did NOT disappoint!!

Love who you are and what you do. I have a 20 year old daughter who just finished her second year of University.. she hasn’t found her path or purpose yet. She doesn’t see it yet but she is keeping her options limited because of a long term one and only boy. I look at you and I’m so impressed with your ability to be alone and so independent. To not let society’s normal control you. You’re not a sheep just following the herd on auto pilot and wondering why you’re so anxious, depressed and lost like so so many. I feel you’re just a beautiful person Laura.

It's no wonder you love this lifestyle Lauren, it's just amazing the spots you choose to drop anchor and take in the 360 degree panoramic views. If you don't like the spot you in bring up your anchor and there is probably a dozen more perfect ones. El escenario es espectacular y me alegra que siempre tengas en cuenta no tomar riesgos innecesarios y cuidarte. La playa que querias ver era como de pelicula, te la robo para cuando quiera estar lejos de todo un poquito. Las imagenes tuyas buceando estan de 10 y mucho mas cuando esta enfocandote, el viento es molesto pero me alegra que no haya afectado tu alegria de siempre. Knucky Cat is so envious of Macko Cat! Well...maybe it's me that wishes I could be back at St John. I too was completely in awe of the beauty above 🏝and below 🪸the water. I would jump at the chance to explore the islands on a sail ⛵️ boat. Wishing you the best adventures.

So glad you have Mako to keep you company! Did you ever see the cartoon showing a dog and its owner with the dog thinking “My owner must be God” the way he looks after me. Then another picture of a cat looking at its owner thinking “I must be a God” the way my servant takes care of me!

It's beautiful. This area takes your heart and never gives it back. I was a charter captain in the Virgin Islands. I still have the secret chart showing anchorages and lobster only the top captains know (me and one other). St John is laid back and remote but it's better in the BVI. You are such an interesting sailor and sweet person - wild and free. Living your dreams with no fear. I have never shared the chart. But I will share it with you. It shows the best anchorages in the US and BVI. Never share with anyone else or the anchorages will be crowded and the lobster gone forever. Great show baby!

Don’t be concerned with so much solar power Lauren, you don’t need to use it just because you have it, the batteries will stay fully charged and the solar controller will look after them. Too many overcast days in a row and you may need to conserve power as you may have done before.. loved the beautiful clear water. Have you drifted off to sleep and woken up suddenly in a few seconds of mild panic wondering how long you’ve been asleep and if the boat is on the right course?

Please please please always keep your satellite phone / radio on your body (hip mounted or whatever) when you are walking around on the deck. I recently watched a video of an Australian guy that was solo sailing and he miss-stepped at the stern and he went overboard, and his boat sailed away from him. Stay safe out there Lauren, and anybody else who solo sails. 🙂🙏

There's a suction handle device thing used by people that install glass windows, no electricity needed, that I think you could use as a portable handle to suckerfish onto bottom of boat as a handle to hold onto and to stabilize and leverage yourself to clean bottom in the wild.
