My first time at Wrigley Field! What it’s like at Wrigleyville Chicago. Tampa Bay Rays Vs. Chicago Cubs game 1, 2022 MLB baseball. @TheDailyWoo #baseball #wrigleyfield #wrigleyville #tampajay #mlb
So glad you got to cross off a major item on your bucket list. And I appreciate you associating Dunkin with me lol. It will be cool to see someday, although I have no knowledge of baseball, the history, or the importance of Harry Cary. I'm glad your first time here was with people who appreciated the moment more than I would :) I just realized those jerseys you sent me a pic of were from the Sandlot, that is really cool! They have a plant wall? I'm invested now. I'm glad you had a good time, you've braved a lot of elements for baseball so far this year! Great video!
Wow! The 3 days with you, Adam and Max was the best. I’m not even a baseball fan. Showing sites around the ball stadiums and parts of the game was so enjoyable. Hope your flight back to Tampa wasn’t cancelled.
Glad you got to visit historical Wrigley Field. As a die hard Cub fan that has been to Wrigley many times. I understand early season games in the frigid cold and wind. I learned many years ago if the ivy is not green to take blankets, winter clothing. But no matter what the weather it is never a bad day at Wrigley.
That's awesome you got to visit Wrigley Field ! Thanks for another great video. When you first went into the stadium I got goosebumps. Definitely on my list of places to go!
Love watching your perspective.... and congrats on your first time at Wrigley. It was always a dream of mine to watch the Cubs play, but never got the chance. Thanks for taking us along.
Love it. So happy to see you experience a cool place. I’m a southsider (Chicago) but have. Even to Wrigley hundreds of times. I used to work there when I was 16-17-18 years old. (Early 70’s). I worked Comiskey, Stadium, Soldier Field for other sports events plus Intl Amphitheater and other places for concerts. Great gig for young people. I saw so much when I was young. I did ticket taking, ushering and security. Sweet gig. One assignment I had was working the Pittsburgh Pirates dugout. Such a thrill for a young guy. Glad you guys had fun. A lot of history there.
As an employee at wrigley and having lived in wrigleyville in the past, you did an amazing job at documenting your journey. Almost like you are from here. this was a really good video. come back soon
Enjoyed the video. I’m all in on the Rays now, but grew up rooting for the Cubs before we had a team here in Tampa Bay. It was an awesome experience seeing a game at Wrigley.
Awesome video! Very cool! Funny it snowed! I did little research found out that Finway is 2 years older! Maybe next time you could do the movie Rookie of the year locations
this is why i am glad the Toronto Blue Jays have a dome lol , i hope you guys can come up to a Jays game sometime! would be awesome to see you guys experience Toronto and Skydome, its an amazing site to behold Skydome now called Rogers Centre
great video I feel for ya I m in KENUCKY right now but I am from South Side Chgo saw a lot of games at the great WRIGLEY FIELD you guys need to come back in th summer when It is hot and wind blowing out sit in the bleachers you will love it believe it
@@TampaJay loved the video. I live 20 minutes from the Field of Dreams, so we do Wrigleyville and Cubs games a few times a year. It was awesome seeing the excitement of grown men going for the first time because we take it for granted.
That's not snow.. Walking out your front door and having 2 feet of snow outside is snow. The city of Philadelphia kept all the main roads open too! I lived 100 yards away from 1 of those roads but couldn't dig my car out for days.
did you know that Bill Veeck used to work for the Chicago Cubs and he the one that put Ivy on the outfield wall he was aloso the one that put midget for the St louis Brown game and sign Larry Doby the second players from the negro league but first in the American and he the one the hired Harry Carey and ask him to do the seven inning stretech by sing take me to the ballgame that carry over to the Cubs when he was at the White Sox and idea of Disco Demolition Night in 1979 his son mike veeck used to work for the Charleston Riverdogs a Rays farm team but watch them now he probably help them to his friend is Bill Murray Director of fun yes that one in Ghostbuster caddyshack and voice of Garfield Bill Murray is a Cubs fan because he was born in Chicago
Too bad the weather wasn’t nice & the Ivy wasn’t on the outfield walls. Historic park for sure. At least the concessions got an upgrade. Used to sell stale nachos. The bleachers were the ticket back in the day $5 bucks. Now Cubs have the priciest tickets in baseball. Thanks for the tour.
Not only was it the best of any sports stadium experience I have visited it was the friendliest, the ushers went out of their way to ensure a great experience, volunteering to take our photos and giving us directions to random spots on the stadium of their own interests. The whole night despite the weather, was magical.
@@TampaJay That’s awesome, definitely a great lifelong memory for you. Used to take my little brothers in the 70’s to see the Cubs vs Dodgers great times. I’m a lifelong White Sox fan. Love baseball ⚾️
@@TampaJay Love how you guys travel from ball game to ball game. In 84’ me & 3 friends drove to the Kentucky Derby on Saturday, then Sunday was Indy 500 first day of practice, then Monday afternoon was Cubs game followed by White Sox at old Comiskey Park for night game. Then went home and slept for 2 days. Hahaha 🤪

You guys rock so much for braving the snow for the Game..⚾️🕶✌ that was cool when u said how honored it will be to sing "take me out to the ball game" where Harey Carey sang it.,that was RAD, just watched Woos version now I'm watching ya Mango
My wife and I love going to Chicago! My son is a huge Cubs fan! My wife and I have never been to Wrigley Field, thanks for sharing your visit here! Definitely gonna stop and get a good Chicago style hot dog at that one place. Just discovered your channel by watching your buddies channel Adam the Woo. 👌😊
I see you got the whole Chicago experience with the Chicago dog and the snow. You don't get that in Florida. I enjoy seeing you guys having a great time at Wrigley Field. Next time you should go to the roof top seats. That would be cool but, I don't know if you can get food there. I'm not really much of a baseball fan but, you and Adam are making me appreciate it more. Thank You.
Rays will be back at Cubs in 2024. Next year, Cubs go to St. Pete. New rules, all teams play each other once per year. You may not know, but Wrigley was in very poor condition 10 years ago, concrete falling down, etc. The new owner rebuilt the stadium over 2-3 years. They tore section by section of stands down to earth, installed a pile foundation and rebuilt almost exactly the way it was.
Another time your in my neck of the woods and wished I could have been there and met you guys in person. One day, hopefully. Looks like you guys had lots of fun even though it was cold. Hope you guys come back soon when it's warmer.
Take me out to the ball game, Take me out with the crowd; Buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jack, I don’t care if I never get back. Let me root, root, root for the home team, If they don’t win, it’s a shame. For it’s one, two, three strikes, you’re out, At the old ball game. I hope you guys get to return to Wrigley someday for a warm sunny day game with the outfield ivy in bloom. There's really nothing quite like it. Have fun!
I haven’t been to Wrigley since 2009, so I was thrown off seeing the Harry Caray statue outside centerfield, it used to be located off right field at Addison & Sheffield
This was a cool and fun vlog Jay! I'm glad to see you experienced a game at Wrigley. Hopefully one day I can get out that way and do the same! The ballpark looks amazing and so many iconic memories there. RIP Harry Carry!
Lol u n i both know when sox dont do well sox fans go to wrigley n vice versa. At very least southisde watchd n partied wit the cubs for there championship
Always loved Wrigley, got to go twice... (we lived in the suburbs) I remember when those rooftops only had a few folding chairs on them, before all the bleachers! Jack Brickhouse broadcasted Cubs when I was a kid, before Harry...miss them both. ⚾Thanks for great memories!
I just found you and subscribed because of ATW! I was born and raised in Chicago die hard life long Cubs fan. I used to walk with my entire high school to Wrigley every year for our fundraiser. It was magical in my humble opinion that y'all got snow for your Wrigley Field experience. Please do return for a summer visit for warmth and the historic ivy! I hope to bring my children and grandchildren to introduce them to this beautiful, amazing city i came from. I hope to show them the museums, my favorite beaches, and places i used to love to eat at.
@@TampaJay u didnt sit together? Yea i have mlb extra innings so i watchd cubs broadcast than swtichd back to tampas n he poped on both lol So all in all was wrigley n the area worth it? I knew youd love the area man its like nuttin else out there
If you like historical ball parks. Fenway is a must see. Very unique as well, especially how it affects the game with all it's different dimensions etc of the playing field.
