Thanks for showing us around Ipoh. I never really hear about Ipoh much as a tourist destination. Looks like a really foodie place

No problems at all. Make sure you try the biscuits when in Ipoh or if you come across them anywhere else in the world. In Australia they would be classified as pastries.

Wife's biscuit is given to relatives and friends to inform them of impending wedding. Some biscuits like Kaya Puffs are uniquely Malaysian.

Awesome thank you for explaining the story behind the Wife Biscuit 🙏🏽The Kaya Puffs look very different in style to the other biscuits so for them to be uniquely Malaysia makes sense to me.

Ipoh is one of the foodies paradise in Malaysia. It's been voted as one of the most underrated tourist spot in Malaysia too. After that revelation over the Internet, it's now a booming city for foreign tourists. Back then, the place was mostly filled with local tourists. How things have changed!😅😊

Hello friend 👋🏼 I totally agree with you. Ipoh has alot of potential and the prices are very reasonable. I must admit that the tourists I saw were mainly local. When I told my friends that I visited Ipoh they did not know where it is. I hope that Ipoh’s popularity grows in the future ☺️✌️

Kedai means shop. Kedai biskut = biscuit shop. Jalan sehala = one way street.

Yes I figured this out afterwards after Googling the words 😂

It’s actually great when you have no set plans. I really wanted to stay in Ipoh but if I didn’t jump on that train I could have been stuck for a looong time 😎

You should have taken : 1. Oven baked pau bun 2. Hiong peng biscuit which ipoh is famous for.

Where can I find the wife biscuit in Melbourne? ☺️

Good question. I’m guessing Chinatown in Melbourne should have it. But i’ll have to double check ✌️
