Wait. So you went to Oregon to get a job, got a job, and are now leaving to go back to unemployment voluntarily? Banking on a mobile mechanic job when you don’t have the tools or the desire to do that work? The most selfish thing is to remain unemployed. I love it. Keep up the content. Pulling for you.
You make a great point. I had my job I was going to retire from, I was looking at a real nice pay increase. I had been at the company for 15 yrs so I was going to go to 8 weeks vacation. I was working the weekend shift Friday through Sunday 3 12 hour days and got paid for 40hrs. I was off Monday through Thursday and just like that they closed the doors. I do not suffer from depression like you do so that has helped me, but when you lose everything like that it wears on you and really shakes your confidence, even in this situation where it was out of my control. The only thing you can do is keep on trying. I love the oh just go do this and everything will be great crowd. If it was always that easy we all would be retired and fishing. Peace Justin. Keep on trying.
It's also about consistent content... I was very interested when he was a tire tech because a mechanic downsizing and doing low level work again is fascinating. And a great hook for a tool review channel... He's gone off the deep end becoming a failed forestry worker and a failed roofer. Stuff is just cringe and only good to watch if you like a tragedy.
I think you give up on the idea of moving to easily from the sounds of it. I just hope it works out for you because life is about taking risks. Making a move to possibly make a better life is something worth trying. If it doesn’t work out at least you try. Worry about how someone feels about moving is honestly is a wall keeping you from going to where you need to go. Trust me when i made a move that wasn’t everyone’s best interest. Everyone was eventually happier and even glad that I continued to move on with me own decision. Like I said I hope whatever you do works Justin cheers.
buddy I been there its called youth/getting older and growing up in the military magnifies theses problems, Im an 11 year army, Iraq and afghan vet and I get it! I been there, I know! I get it! What you have to do is just sick with something, whatever it is just do it and sick with it. That's it, there is no tricks or short cuts. I mean this as a friend and I hope you make it work.
Highland, Moreno Valley, San Bernardino, are about an hr drive for you from yucca valley. Plenty of job opportunities there, Robertsons in highland hire mechanics, they’re literally hiring right now, says no experience needed on indeed, just say you wanna transition to diesel they will hire you guaranteed, don’t say you got fired from anywhere, if you don’t wanna do mechanics there many warehouses in Moreno Valley. Just looking in yucca and Palm Springs you ain’t gonna find it. Unfortunately for living in yucca you just gonna have to commute for one hr each way every day but plenty of people do it, and if working less than 12 hrs a day it’s definitely doable, I was working up to 16s going from Fontana to Apple valley every day m-f and I did it yah it sucked but I did it, now if I was only working 10-12 ?? Easy pezzyy man
That may be true but don't think he's interested... Gotta be x y and z why... But def worth a shot now he last had a running car that could get him to commute...
This is exactly why the poor stay poor...give up a sure thing where jobs are plentiful to go back to unemployment and try do do little side hustles that will never pay off. Dude grow a set of balls all get your family moved up there where cost of living is less and where jobs are plentiful. At this point its almost like you like staying poor. You starting a business would be a disaster, businesses are not easy to start and run, people don't pay, you have massive liability, and i'm guessing you couldn't afford business insurance. You mess up a repair and get someone killed without insurance you'll really be in deep trouble them when lawyers get involved.
I agree 100% there’s a lot to running a legit business. I look into it years ago and I said I’ll keep doing what I’m doing until I have this amount of money to get it going. Also knowing a lawyer is key too.
You can make money running a small repair business. Many people do it, and he has the skills. The problem here is he's inconsistent, can't start a business like that.
@micahhill4786 having good credit to apply for a business line of credit is the most important thing. And a decent CPA to explain how a business is laid out financially. This is why most so called "small businesses" fail. They're just a side hustle not an actual business
Lord help the haters commenting, we are watching a man do the best that he can with what's given to him while being a good husband and parent. If you can't get behind that leave the comment section and go back to your pathetic life😂 Stay positive, brother that is the important thing!
Dude is fumbling actual economic opportunities for his daughters in order to please/cater to his dissolving marriage that has failed once already.. Anybody with financial sense would've left Califormia in a heart beat, but because "duhh wyfeee" said so he's gonna let his entire family suffer on a pipe dream that they'll make it in that mess of a state.. He's coming back home empty handed and wants applause for "trying".
@AsviniKumar4747 Why are you setting expectations for someone you don't know? The man makes his own decisions. Getting worked up over a stranger on the internet does not help you or anyone else.
life is never going to give you the right time. you have to make the timing right for you. theres more opportunities in oregon for jobs than in the desert. get out of the desert!!!! the way you make it sound, theres no chances for growth in clownafornia. make the move. dont regret not making the move in 20 yrs still stuck in the desert. the only thing constant in life is change.
Unlike many on here just hating, i say good luck. Being a mobile mech isn't bad and will also bring in content for the channel. The problem is, you have to stop beeing inconsistent with your choices. Starting a business is hard work and you can't just do it half ass. I would start low, easy jobs and jiffy lube style. Then gradually increase. Stop making bad choices and getting in debt. Tools are cheap and if you need tool donations we here for ya. Personally i like to pay it forward, specially for those young guys out there, or people starting over. No one is perfect. But be consistent for you family/god.
Facts .. I think the only people left are watching for the drama but that’s got limited appeal. Mobile mechanic videos could work, I see that one guy Matthew Parker doing numbers.
Would be a lot safer to just get any job in Oregon as the desert is dead innterms of opportunities. Thought you got a job? Now you are bailing? Why? The derailment is largely of your own creation. You don't need growth over time. You need a job. What you guys got keeping you in the desert? No fast food Jobs desperate for employees in the desert? Stop wasting money and work. Save a bit and fix the credit, don't lower your credit score by spending on stuff you don't need.
Really with all this you should have never hurried up and got married this nothing but a big mistake you found a lot of work but will you be happy with what you’re doing a lot of jobs but being happy is staying there you had a great thing at Ron’s and he sold you need to find that happy place again for you and your family life will be good 👍 😊
Bruh is being simp and prioritizing his wife's happiness and desires over his well being and his family's economics security... I give them 4 more years before another split and inevitable divorce. Neck tattoo and all.
@@AsviniKumar4747that is what we want to think and prob feel like is what is going on but what do we know... But it does sound that way with the move and family stuff... More RU-vid content...
@@miequipmenttech839I dunno who knows... But I think the need to solidify that and see what they want in the future and work and family life and do what's best for family.... But I do feel some things should have been figured or discussed prior to marriage or prior to even contemplating this Oregon trip for a short term gig only to return to Cali... Im on the outside looking in but some sacrifices need to be made to support and provide for family... Venture outside the local bubble as someone said... Shoot not same boat but I hate driving 1.5 hours morning and afternoon to take my son to and from school and then go to work bc his mom lives further away but hey I do it... Hopefully something gotta give and he will be able to figure it out at home especially if moving to Oregon is not in future long term....
@@AsviniKumar4747 I mean you can’t force someone to move to another state where they don’t know anyone just cus he don’t wanna drive to highland or Moreno Valley, that’s part of marriage is consider the other person
