FYI: My cat with allergies had the same issues and a waste of money to take her to the vet. A farmer suggested putting a capful of organic apple cider vinegar in a gallon of water and use it as their water. If you only have one cat, keep most in the frig to keep it fresh. I was Amazed how good it worked

Hi Amy, I chuckled when you mentioned your grandmother's shower cap because I was just thinking of a curler cap I had in high school. It was all white flowers. I would sleep in curlers every night, and the cap helped to keep them from falling out 😂 This was fun, thank you! Hugs from Michigan Bev!

♥Yeah, I like the flowers "loose"; absolutely darling POE (piece of ephemera). Remembering that as well as shower caps there were swim caps, made of that funky rubber stuff, with a chin strap, that covered ladies hair so it wouldn't get wet. They, too, were covered in loose flowers. Love the snarky comment!...I've even done that...sure I have!. Have a wonderful weekend!♥

This is so beautiful! I love it. And sadly, I was forced to wear a completely flower covered swim cap a couple of times when I was young. And my hair was very long, thin and stringy. So when I take it off, it’s awful and painful. Yuck! 😂 Thanks for another beautiful inspiration! Hugs ❤️🤗

Oh! This looks so fun. Also, I tried your trick of using furniture pads on the inker. I found it too hard right out of the box but I roughed it up with a table knife and now it is working great. I probably won't have to replace it for a very long time. Thank you for this very helpful tip.

Very cute. My mom used to wear a shower cap. Back in the day, she would get her hair done and a shower cap was necessary to keep her hair in order until the next hair appt. It is kind of interesting. When I went to the bookstore to get my current copy of Sommerset. I sat down in the cafe with a cup of coffee, started turning the pages, and there was this project. I have been planning an upcoming multi media project that would be a portrait of my niece. Planning on n doing a combination of media on canvas. That would involve paper and fabric collage, acrylic jelly printing a transfer laser print picture of my niece in black and white collaging the background onto the canvas, adding my layers, then her jelly print image. The picture itself in black in white. Then adding color, and her flower “crown” so to speak. I have several like this planned for gifts over the next year. So, this project as a sort of a reference point and inspiration will help. And like you, I do not want it flat. I am going to stiffen some of the fabric flowers and try to shape them. So when I saw how similar this project is to my plan drawings very happy and amazed at the perfect timing of it. It will be my first such project. So looking forward to it. A little nervous about it honestly, and excited. As soon as I finish my Christmas gift quilts and the other major Christmas projects. This will be started.
