Shorts have long gone beyond the gym. Today it is a casual summer clothing worn by many, regardless of age.
The choice of styles is so great that sometimes you find it difficult to choose what you need. The main thing is to choose a suitable pattern that will fit well on your figure.
I have one, the main feature is that the shorts have no side seams. Despite this, the legs are covered. Moreover, the pattern can be altered to a larger size without any calculations.
For shorts you will need a piece of fabric 110x120 cm. I took thin knitwear for myself. We fold the fabric along the 110 cm side, the length of the shorts is 55 cm. This value can be more or less, depending on what length you want. 120 cm is the width of the pattern.
But if you have a Plus size, then take a width larger than 130-150 cm.
First, we fold the fabric as in the first diagram, we get 4 layers. Pay attention to where the fold is.
Then we unfold the cut out parts as in the second diagram and fold them facing each other. Correcting the front part.
We sew both parts in the middle along an arc.
We unroll the shorts.
We overcast all sides, turn in 1 cm and stitch.
The result is wide, dimensionless shots without side seams.
On the front of the shorts, mark 20 cm from the side and fold the fabric inside the shorts.
On the back we also mark 20 cm and fold the fabric forward.
As a result, a smell was formed on the side, 40 cm wide, open at the front. This size is enough to prevent the shorts from opening when walking.
Next, take a strip of fabric for the belt; its length should match the waist size of the shorts. When I sewed the strip together, I left a space for the elastic to enter.
Attach the waistband to the shorts and insert an elastic band.
I marked 4 marks on the belt. I made longitudinal stitches at equal distances so that the elastic would not twist during use.
The shorts are very comfortable, loose, suitable for home and leisure.
