I saw the Mets and the Yankees ON THE SAME DAY (Citi Field vs. Yankee Stadium)

I went to both Mets and Yankees home games on the same day to see which is better! We compared hot dog prices, beer prices, and overall experience at each stadium to declare a winner.
The first game was Mets vs. Orioles at 1;10 at Citi Field!
The second game was Yankees vs. Guardians at 7;10 at Yankee Stadium!

Citi field at night is fantastic. When the Mets are winning the atmosphere is electric. I only go to night games

Both stadiums look like a good time, but of course the history of going to Yankee Stadium is just so big that it kinda carries the experience of being at a Yankees game in the Bronx

Yankee fan here -Citi field is more inviting than Yankee stadium. Much more colors especially when yoúre with kids

Its not even close. Its Citi Field. Once the greedy Steinbrenner’s decided to tear down the original Yankee Stadium and replace it with that empty husk of a stadium to price goug fans. It was a wrap

empty husk? What are you even talking about? I love when people talk about the original Yankee Stadium like it was nice...the place was falling apart and you could barely use a bathroom. sounds like sour met fan energy

@@IzzyRobbins Exactly, I find it comical when people say this. It's almost as if they let their nostalgia of the old yankee stadium and the era of the amazing teams in the late 90s to early 00's come in the way of common sense. Do people even remember how awful the infrastructure was in the old stadium? It was terrible: very narrow hallways leading to excessive crowding, dirty, smelly, not enough bathrooms leading to very long lines,, not enough concession stands with not enough food or drink options. I could go on. The new stadium - while not perfect - is much better in so many ways.

@@michaelchen1838 old yankee stadium was unsafe to play ball so they built a new one inspired by the original which is why it looks traditional and way better than citi field

I did that too. It was my ex gf birthday. I'm a Mets fan she a Yankees. So I bought us Tix first to Yankees day game then we caught the 710 game at Citi field. She enjoyed it. It was when I was making a lil bit of money. Both teams lost unfortunately but at Yankee stadium we had access to the bar and restaurant in the stadium. I think was the Jim beam area. But I'd say this about both stadiums... Both I thought were excellent to see the game. I don't care so much for bells and whistles I was happy we had good seats in both stadiums about mid way tween the top and field level. The only thing is I'll give an advantage to Yankee stadium in that it's in the middle of the neighborhood. You can go to a bar and or restaurant right there which is nice so ppl can mingle and be sociable. Citi is in the middle of nowhere really which is why Steve Cohen wants to develop the area around the stadium. Both are nice modern stadiums with lots of amenities. Parking can be tough. Citi probably has the advantage as far as parking. A cop told me where to park although it was illegal but she said don't worry we already ticketed that area and we're done. Everyone was pretty nice tho in the Bronx there were a few tough characters in a bar we went to but it was fine.

Yankee stadium is built to look more traditional which is why it doesn’t have a closing roof for being built in 2009 it doesn’t have pools and hot tubs once again the Yankees wanted fans to get the traditional feel of baseball also which is why there is a lot of concrete

Yea the stadium is beautiful.. until you go to the bathroom or go to get a hot dog and the places where you walk around look really bad. Maybe that’s what they wanted but idk I think it looks really bad. The field is beautiful the outside of the stadium is beautiful and beyond center field where they have all the statues and busts are beautiful

Nah, Yankee stadium wins because they have best DJ in all MLB and the remixes were LIT, I was Vibing all the damn time when the game started 🔥🔥🔥🔥.

Citi Field wins for better between inning activities a better stadium in general a stadium that doesn’t cost the team money largest scoreboard in MLB the Home Run Apple not having a right field that I could hit a Homer out on will give Yankee Stadium the DJ Better culture among Met fans rather then just boasting about 27 rings to other fanbases booing your own players when they are literally having a historic season and overall a better Stadium Now obviously the Yankees are the better team that’s the reason that the Yankees never lost a game to the Mets this season 6/25 9-7 Huh that was weird 6/26 12-2 Woah it happened again 7/23 3-2 Why does this keep happening 7/24 12-3 Alright anyway both of them are W stadiums
