Hearing him saying "See you in 1 year" while video was uploaded 10 years ago is like some psychological horror where a person is supposed to be in cryosleep for 5 years but wakes up 1000 years later
its about as impressive as every other video on youtube from 10 years ago. its uploaded to the site its just not visible to the public until a certain date its not rocket science
No idea who you are or what this channel is, but this is super cool to see. That, "We'll see how things go. It could be here it could be gone tomorrow" attitude, that's inspiring to see. Good for you.
@@return2sender791 The best years were those where the internet was just starting to be a thing, and everyone could post on forums and had little restriction but lots of respect. Also, the times when cringe just wasn't popular. What is with the stupid RU-vid stickers?!
@@return2sender791 That's a fact, most people don't know how to collaborate the same way. You're right, greed has shown itself in this way, but even on other platforms like TikTok where the ad revenue is nearly non-existent we see the same thing. That's fine you like the stickers, but sorry they are just too stupid. It's like the giant corporation RU-vid is going "hey fellow kids" coming up with the cheapest and most "inoffensive" mainstream garbage and expecting all their users to appreciate it. I'm sorry, but most of these dumb new trends like the weird stickers, the corner-rounding f*tish that Google, Apple, and recently Windows adopted, the lack of properly responsive ui elements, inadequate moderation, horrible support, and reduced control is too frustrating and counter-productive. I may not have known the internet in its early infancy, but from what I've seen, it was far more beneficial than what we have now, even with the interesting new advancements in technology.
This is what RU-vid content is ment to be. This video in particular was recommended out of the blue for me. I don't know if I've ever watched Mogswamp before. If I did, it was probably when this video was made.
It’s impressive that you still have the same motivation to work hard and grow the channel as you did 10 years ago! I hope you record another one and we can see what happens 10 years from now!
524 subscribers to 592,000 subscribers, in 10 years! I don’t think that 16 year old u would ever dream of this day and having come so far, not only in your worlds but also the amazing community you have created. Congratulations 🎉
@@KingQ. When I found this channel he only had about 20k... that was about a year ago. Mogswamp has been DEDICATED despite years and years without any considerable success.
ive never heard of this channel, and i saw this video and immediatly clicked. its so cool to see how much you've grown since then!! you were still so enthusiastic about youtube and that's so encouraging to see.
this is so cool, and the first video of its kind that i’ve ever seen. Amazing that this managed to still come out at the scheduled time, so long after you made it, while youtube has gone through loads of updates and changes. Pretty cool.
You have come quite far! Most of your growth has been in these past few years, but I know for sure you needed that original follower base to make it this far. Cheers!
this is one of the most heartwarming and charming videos ive seen. congratulations on all your success and growth throughout the last ten years, it's absolutely deserved!
Now... wouldn't it be super freaky if in a couple of weeks time, a video response to this video came out, that too was made in 2013 and was scheduled for upload in 2023
This reminds me of what I did this year that will (hopefully) become a tradition for myself. I do daily journals/diaries and I decided during new years that I would write it basically speaking to my future self and next new years I will open it and read it and then write a new one to read the next year, so on and so forth. No idea if I will keep up with it, but I hope it sorta puts things in perspective to have a time capsule like that for myself to look back on.
Pretty cool how the video video was scheduled right to the moment were the channel is finally paying off. Waiting ten years before starting to grow doesn't happen that often.
It’s so cool seeing channels grow from small and humble to big and humble. It’s so crazy how you were already such a bombastic personality even when you were such a small channel!
I was there! Whooooo Flatworld was so inspiring and amazing! I loved the recent tour it made me so happy! I'm only a few years younger than you and I feel like we were good buddies in school or something with all of the nostalgia! I'm so overjoyed to see you still working on the mogswamp channel! Lots of love!
I recently found your channel and you got me back into loving minecraft. Whenever I play, I either listen to an audio book or your videos. Thank you for everything you've done for us
This is my first time seeing your channel. What a great idea you had! So happy to see your channel has just exploded in the years since. Wishing you many more successful years to come.
your subscriber count has grown by almost exactly 100x in 10 years! i just found your channel pretty recently, and it’s cool to see how far you’ve come already :)
Dam that’s good to see, he keep persisting and eventually got what he wanted and now he is very successful on RU-vid great job mogswamp🎉🎉 hope u had a great Easter
It’s incredible how far your channel has gone, your content has only gotten better, and I’m so happy that you Sri k with it (I love your content so much). wish you the best of luck for the channel.❤
i was like "wow this is a cool concept hope this guys channel is successful after these 10years." then i realized i literally watch his videos all the time for building inspo💀
love the concept, this is the first vid I see from your channel but I respect creative ideas like this and I also like minecraft a bit so ill subscribe
This got recomended to me, and I'm so glad I watched it. I just checket out your channel, and watched your 1hr flatworld Movie. And man am I impressed! Increadible to hear the story behind this world and also about your life and this channel! What a journey
The RU-vid website and app have definitely changed a lot over the years since 2013. I remembered iOS6 got rid of the built in RU-vid app in late 2012. And the new app was buggy iirc.
"Hope you had a great day on Easter 1 or 2 years ago!" Let’s see, Easter 2013, how old was I? Oh yeah now I remember! My birthday is April 18, so I hadn’t turned 11 just yet, and I didn’t have a smartphone, just an MP3-player, really old-fashioned I know. Back then I was planning to unalive myself, bullied at school with undiagnosed autism. That spring, a family member had just passed away from breast cancer. I wasn’t very close to her, but it was the first family death I experienced, at a very low point in my life. Holy cow, life is a lot better now! I’m in university, slowly learning to manage my multiple disabilities and limited energy. I’ve pretty much beaten depression. I don’t remember easter 2013, but I don’t think it was my best easter. I don’t know who you are, never watched your stuff, but it warms my heart that some random dude, who just ended up in my recommendations today for some funny RU-vid algorithm reason, wished my 10-year-old self a great day 10 years ago. Have a great day you too!
