This little guy is amazing Anthony!! Everything about the piece, from the bench, to the details in his clothing to his fat pumpkin head 😂 & I love that you weave a back story into your creations, it brings such personality & I can totally see it playing in my minds eye! One quick question if you dont mind me asking. Do you have any suggestions for affordable sculpting tool sets? You've inspired me to get back into polymer clay, but the only tools I have atm are a set of small dotting tools. a pack of shapers & blades. Thanks so much in advance! 🎃
Love him and I think his name should be Jack Pumpkinhead 😊🩷 (for obvious reasons lol) Edit: I can also see him being good friends with Jack Skellington and Sally 🩷🎃👻💀
You have really made Pumpkin Guy so expressive with his lack of facial features; the lack of motion in his posture especially the way his hands are silently and desperately hanging down. Incredibly beautiful sculpture, Anthony.
Love how this guy isn’t monstrous, just sitting there waiting patiently for the bus to work. Thanks for so much high quality instruction in all your videos. I always learn something new from you.
One thing I really love about your sculpting is how you add the details of the clothing without draping the whole thing in extra clay. It really keeps it streamlined. He turned out great!
Remember the episode of Ren and Stimpy where Ren becomes a hermit and lives in a cave? The mummified guy he befriends would be perfect for your style. We all appreciate you taking your time to make this awesome content.
Pumpkin guy reminds me of Jack from Return to Oz who’s a pumpkin headed scarecrow who was brought to life; but I’m sure most people don’t know anything I’m talking about because I’m old lol 😂🩷
A Monster Universe, but the monsters are just sad and tired corporate workers. I'd watch that like crazy. Love the little not-so-scary guy, he's me each week, somewhere around Wednesday.
This would be a great pre-story for "Jack Pumpkinhead" from "Return to Oz". Not a lot of people remember that film, but as soon as I saw your pumpkin character that's the first thing that came to mind. Really like this entire sculpt and build. It has a lot of the Tim Burton feel to it. Even the odd shape to the bench really brings out the strangeness of the entire scene. Great work!
Очень милый печальный🙁 парень, классно что не преклеен к скамейки так он сможет подвинуться если вдруг кто то решит сесть рядом и разбавить его одиночество 😁💞
Y'know, I think this is pretty awesome! I like seeing some of these sculpts of just regular things being done by unusual characters, they're always so imaginative and great - even just sitting on a bench!
(before watching completely when talking about the pumpkin man on bench) so...in turn its a jack skelington but in your own personal style and wants to just be himself and not what others want him to be, interesting (after finishing sculpt) This looks incredible!! really love how this one came out
I LOVE HIM SO MUCH! This might be one of my favorites. He conveys so much emotion for not having an expressive face... It's like Sad Keanu... but pumpkin
He really speaks to me. I can feel where he's coming from as my family wanted me to be a baseball player while I really had no athletic abilities until after I went into the military, which was my passion. I would love to have something like him on my mantle year 'round. Hope you are doing well and please keep the great videos coming.
Very expressive, he is really likeable and being able to move him to share the bench is a great idea. Maybe a cat that has seen life sitting next to him would look good.
Love him !! ❤❤ Do you think you could maybe make a little scene from children of the corn ?? Or even village of the damed ?? I just think it would be so cool if you did it in your style :)
very cute and whimsical design. would love to see him having a little friend or pet he's looking at (some spooky pumpkin-halloween-dog he took to the park perhaps?)
Crazy how many people was watching during the pandemic. I don’t think the internet will ever have a surge in viewership or careers like that ever again. So many people made money online doing what the love and so many people peaked in creativity it was insane. It was definitely the best time to get into online anything cuz everyone was watching everything
Oh yes I like him. Poor little guy. The hands came out great. Thanks for the tip about painting over the Super sculpey original. Good to know. Thanks Ace🍁🍂🎃🍂🍁
Pumpkin-heads are one of my favorite monsters! They're rather diverse, from scarecrows to dullahans, or just people with pumpkins swapped with their heads, you always have a creepy ghouly! This one is very Jack Pumpkinhead from Oz, a very friendly pump-bro! 🎃👻
“Or maybe with Jack in Halloween Town, that way I could show the kids how friendly I am by helping with the Christmas festival… maybe I’ll check where the bus can take me.”
The *6th Doctor* (Colin Baker) has, arguably, the most iconic/whacky/fun & colourful outfit of all the *Doctors.* I challenge you to sculpt him (or a creature-feature version of him, wearing the outfit)!
he looks great. I like that you can put him anywhere, I like that he could sit on your shoulder.😂 and I do like the idea he had a friend, like a little girl that empathy with him or dog sitting with him.
This guy reminds me of Pumpkin Head from Return to Oz. He is not an actual scary guy at all, he is more so like the scarecrow. Just a nice sort of guy.
The lack of a mouth just adds to the lore for me. "It's time to carve a mouth, son, will you carry on the family tradition of being spooky?" But he just wants to be friendly.
Reminds me of me. Long, tall and HUGE pumpkin head 😊 He's cute. Wish you would make a more grotesque version, A a roten pumpkin head with seeds goozing out if his cracked head. A carved out mad expression. And vines for veins, and mudd for bones.
Love it!! :) Super cute, sad and spooky are the same time. You have encouraged me to give clay a go! Haven't touched it since high school... which feels like a lifetime a go (cause it was, lol).
Hi! I love your videos and can literally watch you sculpt all day. Thank you so much for inspiring me - I've had artist block for months now. Anywho, I would LOVE to see you sclupt Norman from Paranorman !!
Wow! I'm sitting, listening to the whole ace of clay compilation in the background. Along the way, I paint Jack-o'-Lantern figures. (Recently printed on a printer, I'm preparing for the holiday.) I hear some new video has gone in the background. I look at the monitor - the Ace also paints Jack. (@)___(@) Coincidence...
Love your channel! Just curious if you'd be interested in a Jester or a Rumpelstiltskin figurine with a spinning spindel!! i thought those would be neat ideas!
Hullo Anthony, I immediately thought of jack Pumpkin Head from the Land of OZ! I would LOVE to see more sculptures from The Land of OZ! if you have only ever watched the film Wizard of Oz, your truly missing OUT! I think your next OZ character is TikTok of OZ! A rotund figure of a mechanical man! I hope you try some of the OZ books, there are so many different "people" in the land of OZ, I hope you go take a look and see!
