The last two weeks for me have been really hard, I ending up seriously injuring myself and have been taking care of two toddlers while in so much pain. For the snail texture, you could have used clay and made a little cylinder with the pattern on it, then rolled around the cylinder, while pushing it softly into the snail, and that would make it SO much easier to put the pattern on him. 😀
