Hi I’m Rick Shiels, welcome to my channel RickShielsPGAGolf. This RU-vid channel is designed to help you play better golf, also to help you enjoy your golf more!
I specialise in golf club reviews, golf club unboxing, golf club news, golf club head to heads, and all about golf clubs.
I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!
On this channel I also make fun and entertaining golf content based on crazy and sometimes “gimmicky” golf clubs. I like to cut through the marketing hype about products and I like to give you the honest truth about golf equipment.

I just went to a PXG fitting here in Atlanta based on this video. Tried other driver heads there as well, but went with the 0211 because it felt better to me...all of them were nice, but the 0211 just felt better off the face and felt lighter. Gained 30 yards over my old Cleveland Hibore driver. Was super impressed with the whole experience. They were not pushy, let me try whatever I wanted, looked at the numbers and told me to go with what I felt was best because the numbers were so similar. For me golf is about feel and consistency first, then distance...with the PXG 0211 driver I got feel, consistency, and distance! And at $199 USD, can't beat that. I also walked away with a 17 degree 0317 hybrid as well, didn't like the 0211 hybrid head as much...the 0311 hybrid was about $30 more but it felt so much better. PXG is definitely worth a look.

nobody knows where BTC will go, surely I wouldn't invest in it as a retirement asset, I don't think it will ever replace fiat (both because of it's limited availability also because it would take generations to do that) and most of all because now at(almost) all-time high is in my opinion not the best moment to enter. Nevertheless I'm happy I entered sometime ago and I'm holding. None has a crystal ball. But in my humble opinion, most people just talk about BTC, which is just the tips of the iceberg, I think crypto is going to get more importance and acknowledgment in the future. BTC is the future doesn't mean we should hold and not think of the negative effect it would put on you. When it goes lower than the entry price. I advise that we all follow a less talked about way Which is trading. I was about to generate more than 15BTC with 1.5BTC in an interval of 6 weeks from using the trade signal. Martinez dylan. Perfmance numbers can indeed be similar but feel is not…. 0211 st is amazingly soft and the gen 4 st is even softer… 0211 DC’s can be a great light weight solution for some but it’s not the largest most forgiving club either…. The XP head is by far the most forgiving club in any generation … It really comes down to the goal in mind…. Forgiveness has you in XP…. budget minded end up in 0211…. Gamers or players opt for the blade all 3 are amazing…

Agreed. I just bought new Callaway B21 driver, and iron set with hybrids in November. I have since upgraded to PXG Proto + driver, Proto 3W and 5W and gen3 0311 XP. Was very thankful for that heroes discount.

The stats from GC quad tell me that the difference between drivers of only 2 years ago isn’t much, and thanks for pointing that out to us golfers who are counting our pennies. I think a driver upgrade is worth it every 3 to 4 years to get meaningful increased performance.

Two takeaways: 1. Always order clubs under the name “Rick Shiels.” 2. Never schedule a round of golf when Rick does an unboxing on the course. You may get stuck behind him, and I’m pretty sure he left every ball on #10 fairway before jumping over to #18 tee.

The more expensive models have more adjustability...that's about it. Also, this is 250 USD now...really hard to beat that deal. People hate on PXG, but at the price for the 0211 (or the Gen 3's right now), you really can't go wrong.

You couldn't pay me to carry these clubs. Their advertising reminds me of the loud, beer-swilling, morons hacking their way around the local munies. The same idiots yelling "in the hole" and "mashed potatoes" at PGA events. I'd be embarrassed to have one in my bag. And I'm not some CC snob. Just a blue-collar guy with a little bit of self-respect.
