Same. Discovered them in 2013 right when New Demons dropped. I was in 7th grade. Here we are now. ISS has genuinely change music for me. They were the first band like this I got into. I found Blessthefall a couple weeks later.

I agree.. There should be 1 song, at least, that brings the hype like the tracks on New Demons. I know they are changing as artist, but i also know New Demons was the album that brought them a lot of their fan base. Those fans should be given a little love also, as a thank you. I love I See Stars current direction, but feel any Metal band that is evolving, should still have at least 1 track that is made for the OG fans, and never forget about them. unfortunately though it seems to be rarely the case

This was worth waiting 7 years for!!! (and its been a long 7 years periodically checking for new songs) this popped up as part of a bigger playlist and started playing, didn't realize who it was by at first but it triggered those same feelings I'd get from listening to Treehouse and New Demons... i was like "wait...is this? No it cant be..." My heart melted in a "I knew it! I always knew you'd come back" sort of way when I saw it was by I See Stars! I miss Zach and the sound he brought to the band and the heavy music they used to play 😢 you could just feel it in your soul. The passion they had together in New Demons was the best music I've ever heard and I'd give anything to hear that sound again. That being said I enjoy the new stuff, but not nearly as much.

As much as I miss the metal/screaming from ISS, I still love listening to his voice and hearing the digital masterpieces these guys put out. Absolutely amazing work.
